Nice sea views from some of the pitches very clean and tidy the lady warden I spoke to was very helpful and friendly being our first time on a club site.facilities very impressive spotlessly clean and warm. Location good bus stop just outside the site easy access to Brixham and local area.
Super site - lovely for children
I stayed here with my grandsons in the second week of the Easter holidays. Consequently, it was very quiet. The Wardens were very welcoming, friendly & helpful. The facilities were always exceptionally clean & the boys loved the play area. There are plenty of things to do in the area - National Trust properties at Coleton Fishacre and Compton Castle are well worth a visit. We had a great day out on the steam train and ferry too. BUT, if you decide to go to Berry Head, BEWARE - the car park uses number plate recognition. It takes your photo as you enter and leave. We were stationary for less than an hour (the car park was very busy and we had to wait for a space) Paid for an hour to park but the camera said we'd been there for 65 minutes. Result a fine - £85!!!!!!!!!! Also if you're not a dog owner, it's a popular place for walking unrestrained dogs - my youngest grandson was chased (or is that terrorised?) by one!
Will certainly visit Hillhead site again but not Berry Head - a shame as the views are superb.

Consistently Great
This was our second time of staying here and just as good as before. We stay in our MH so this site is perfect with the bus stop just outside! Facilities spotless, friendly wardens and views to die for. We'll definitely be back again!!

Very good facilities
Stayed for two nights just before Easter . The site is very well maintained . The toilets / shower block was spotlessly clean , and spacious with plenty of hot water . The staff were all very polite and helpful . It was quiet when we stayed , and plenty of pitches with lots of room and good views . We have stayed when its busy , and it does get full and there were lots of dogs . A bit expensive , but not excessive considering the facilities . would certainly stay again . easy access by bus to Brixham , and Kingswear for the steam train .
New Year
Wow! First time away for New Year in our caravan and did we choose a great site. Without doubt the Food, entertainment and site cleanliness have to be one of the best we have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. It has to be said the staff made the event, they threw everything into it including their own on-stage performance, a big thank you to them all. We will be back!
Christmas & New year
We arrived on the 22nd December with a lovely friendly welcome.Had a wonderful pitch with sea views although a bit windy at times. Very clean facility's even Christmas day and New years day the blocks were cleaned. Lovely site.

New year
This was our first stay at hill head and it won't be our last. The staff were wonderful ,helpful and put on a new year celebration second to none, the Buffett was the best I'd ever seen more than plenty for every one,Caberet and fireworks excellent l can understand why early booking is recommended ,hope they will get in touch again, happy new year to all staff, enjoy your break.
New Year
First time at Hillhead, great food and entertainment.
However as we have a motorhome we felt the second toilet block closer to our pitch should have been open over this busy period.
We are both getting older the weather was appalling and each time we ventured out to use the toilet block we were soaked.
We hope to return next year but hopefully slightly closer to the main amenities .

Brilliant Christmas & New Year
Spent our first Christmas and New Year at Hillhead it was fabulous - great food and entertainment - staff were so efficient and nothing was too much trouble! We would like to say a big thankyou to everyone concerned and to wish Chris and Tina good luck for the future - they will be missed but Trewethett Farms gain!
