Have just enjoyed six nights at Hebden Bridge and we love the place! The site is so peaceful and quiet even when it's quite busy. The wardens are lovely - very friendly and helpful, and the site is kept beautifully clean and tidy. Lack of shower block didn't bother us at all. The only slight draw back for us was that to walk our dogs in the mornings we had to walk down the main road to find a track - even there it wasn't really suitable to let them off lead as there were cars passing. This was only a small niggle though and we will definately be staying at Hebden Bridge again. We love the site and love the area.
Great site in a lovely location
Just returned from a lovely 6 night stay. The Site is immaculately kept by very helpful and approachable staff. Good canal towpath walking into Hebdon Bridge where there are plenty of eating and drinking establishments.
A visit to The Robin Hood pub just up the road is a must. Exceptional meals are served (Fri, Sat and Sun) by very friendly and welcoming staff. Great beer too.
The only negative I have is that the road outside the site can be busy and quite noisy particularly during the early hours so I would try to avoid these if you can.
Sshhhh it's a secret!!!
We have been going to this campsite at least once a year for about 10 years. We love it here, but please don't tell anyone how good it is as we then won't be able to get in!!!
Very relaxing
My wife and I just bought our first caravan and this was our first time away in it. The wardens were fantastic and really helpful, the site was immaculate and really peaceful. We couldn't have asked for anything more and would definitely recommend this site. Hebden bridge village is definitely worth a visit.
peace and quiet
cracking site lovely walks up the valley, try the robin hood for good food and ale.go to craggies farm shop for good meat and treats.will be back soon.
peacefull relaxing stay
just returned from a 2 night stay. Was very peacefull and relaxing but 2 nights not long enough. tried to visit nearby hebden bridge on saturday but could not get parked, i would reccomend visiting hebden bridge by getting the bus there. there is a bus stop just outside the site which goes every hour. when we visit again will use the bus as parking is very limited. The wardens are very friendly and helpfull.
Two weekend getaways
Just had two lovely weekend breaks on this site. We found the wardens and their assistants to be very friendly and helpful. The site is kept very tidy and its in a very pleasant location in Cragg Vale. There is very handy bus service which runs from right outside the entrance into Hebden Bridge. Although no dog walk on site there are plenty close by off site.
Very enjoyable weekends which we hope to repeat soon.

One night break
This was our second visit in 3 months as it is close to home, the site was again clean and tidy, very friendly staff who are more than happy to help where they can, we pitched on a road side pitch (13) during the day there can be road noise but night time is quiet, pub down the road still not open but sign says opening soon which will be good, got the bus into Hebden and had an enjoyable afternoon/evening just a few places still closed after floods but overall back to normal true Yorkshire spirit, will be returning soon.
Worth a visit
Found site well looked after and ideal for walks in and around the area Hebden bridge worth a visit still a few signs of the flooding but hopefully getting there needs more visitors. Will be back.
