We have usually tried to stay on CC own sites and had been a little concerned that it would not be the usual standard.
It was fine ,we stayed for seven nights and would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
The lady that seems to be doing everything was charming.
On the odd time it seemed to be problem with the shortage of ladies loos especially during the cleaning operation, otherwise great place
10/10
Used this site for the first time on Oct 15 (NEC show), and my wife and I are very pleased we did. Firstly we were greeted by a very pleasant lady (sorry I didn't catch your name) who took us through the do's and don'ts etc. Pitches are fantastic, level, hard standing (shale), water is standard on all (from what I saw). The site is surrounded by lovely rolling hills and fields and is very quiet.
Highly recommended and we for one shall be returning for sure.
A gem of a find will be going back soon
We decided to try here as we couldn’t get in to one of our more regular sites at late availability; we just caught one of the last few places on their web site ( it is an affiliated site not a club site but still easy to book on their web site)
Things went a bit array for us and Bev had to work late unavoidably so I took the motor home down and Bev came on after work in her car.
Due to road works and the Sat nav getting location completely wrong (hers is a Garmin took her to somewhere 3 miles away, my Tom Tom was spot on). To cut the story short she parked on a pub and called for help, I tried to get a Taxi to go to her but Friday night there was no chance.
I asked for directions to the pub intending to walk but as soon as the warden on duty understood our predicament he rang his wife and within 5 minutes she was driving me to the pub were Bev was left stranded and lost and very stressed. She absolutely refused any money from me for her time and Petrol so we settled on me giving her some money to donate to their supported charity a local hospice.
Needles to say the help and commitment shown to us on this occasion went far and above the call of duty for a site warden even if the owner of the site and we could not be more grateful to them for their help as you can imagine we rate the owners of this private site very highly.
The site is also exceptional, all pitches are hard standing, and they are serviced with fresh water and gray water drainage as well as the usual 16 amp power supply. The site is immaculate, neat well trimmed grass some recently added hedges growing nicely. The dog walk must be one of the best I have seen, grass, nice and short lots of room for them to run or be on lead.
Toilets and shower blocks are spotless lots of hot water and very roomy large family rooms available if needed.
Lots to see and do in area, Bus at the end of service road for motor home users or caravaners that don’t want to drive on their holiday, village pubs (serving food) and shops less than 2 miles away, Stratford, Warwick, Oxford, Bicester village , Royal Leamington Spa all within easy striking distance
This is a very peaceful site well of the beaten track, I saw my first ever wild Owl in the dusk on the way out Saturday night. Later on the way back in the dark saw it again fluttering in the car headlights that sight was worth the journey alone.
As I have said 100% commitment from the owners and wardens as helpful as you could ever dream of and more, we found this site by accident but it has become one of our favourite sites instantly and not just because of the help offered but everything else as well for us it is a complete package, this will not be our last visit.
Worth the second visit
Stayed here about three years ago site was smaller but still very good ,Decided to revisit the area again and booked for four nights very pleasent suprise to to see site been extend and includes full service pitches plus all hardstanding.Facilities very clean also site in general well maintained ,still plenty to do around and about also bus stop at the bottem of the lane a bonus.
Peaceful weekend
This site is on a working arable and sheep farm. Reception was good and facilities explained. Pitches are gravel hardstanding and fully serviced. Given a choice of available pitches. Some are hedged for privacy. There are 3 sets of facilities, one is a traditional style block, the other two are full wetroom style. The site was full but we never had to queue for shower or toilets. They were always spotlessly clean. There is a lovely walk around the farm and plenty of grassed area to walk your dog on the lane to the site. Children are allowed at the site but there are no play facilities. Lots to do in the area and Harbury village has all you need including pubs and shops. Bus stop outside site for motor homers. We would definitely visit again.
Super site.
Initially we had intended staying at the club's Tewkesbury site but the reviews, only grass pitches and paid for Wi-Fi made me search further.
This is a great location central to so many attractions and cities. A walk of less than 2 miles to a lovely, old english village of Harbury (3 pubs, 2 good shops). Set on a working farm, arable + sheep, with a good walk around the field margins. Level, gravel pitches with electricity, water and grey waste. Free Wi-Fi at reception. Well spaced pitches and,if you choose one on the edges, good views over the fields, with rabbits, pheasants and more. Really clean loos' and showers with basins in the cubicles. Plenty of hot water plus loo rolls and hand soap. Bus stop at the site entrance. Was only going to stay 1 night but extended to 2.
nice but could be better.
pitches were large, site was peaceful and tidy, overall a nice site but, only one washing up area with one sink(very poor) toilet block attached very short of showers no shelf or seating ,even less loos, easy to find site and well situated,we would go back as it was a nice site, pity about the facilities.
Lovely family stay
Our first trip in our caravan and great choice. It is so peaceful and relaxing. Staff very friendly. Site immaculate and level fully serviced pitches. Toilet/shower blocks spacious and clean.
Nothing for young children if that's what you want ie play area but children are welcome to play on the grass in the middle and also there is a walk that goes around the fields. St Nicholas Park is not far away (10 mins drive) and is beautiful - boat hire, park, play area, small children's rides and lovely ice-cream :-)
Wish we had stayed longer than 2 nights but I am sure we will be back in the future.
Travelled with a 2.5 year old and 4 month baby.
Ticks All The Boxes
We first stayed at Harbury Fields Farm when it was a CL. Over the years it has expanded and on our last visit, the layout had changed yet again! As we have now moved away from the area, we use this as a base for visiting relatives. Pitches are all level and serviced but only wide enough for a caravan and car or caravan and awning - if you want all three then something has to go on the grass. WiFi available at reception - we were able to pick it up in the van as we were close by. Useful dog walk around the farm fields - nowhere to walk to from the site as roads too busy. Found the railway much noisier than previous visits especially the freight trains at night. Convenient for Cotswolds and local NT properties.
Nice Stay
Stopped this August (2016), really enjoyed the site and noted that every pitch seemed to be a good pitch. The staff were extremely helpful and were very understanding when for family reasons we could not attend the day we were booked. We will be back very soon. Thanks for a job well done.
