An Unexpected Pleasure
We’ve never visited this area before and are so glad we chose this site for a short two night break, on the way home to Wales from our holiday in Norfolk and Suffolk.
The site is in a delightfully green area on the edge of a village and a pleasant 20/30 minute walk to the reservoir. Wardens were friendly and welcoming and facilities spotless. Great information hut with obviously lots to see and do in the area which sadly we didn’t have time to explore on this visit. Hopefully next time!
Lovely stroll to the village which has a church (with a second hand book shop) and convenience store and lovely community pub. There is also an Indian restaurant with take away too.
