Very First Caravan Outing

Well this was my very first outing with a caravan. This site was near to home so if any problems with the dog, her first outing as well, we could nip home. My wife and I were amazed at the excellent standard of the site, amazingly clean facilities friendly staff. Cannot rate this site highly enough the dog liked it as well great walks. Hope all sites are like this. Will be back again soon. Good work Caravan Club.

Good Time

Really enjoyed our stay in Forfar. The site was of the usual standard. The shower block very clean and very warm. The wardens were very helpful and cheerful. It was only a short walk into Forfar where everyone was very friendly and good choice of shops. We will be returning to visit the glens of Angus which we were unable to visit.

Good Times

Excellent facilities - ablutions clinically clean (and warm) - as is potwash.  Very handy for walk into town.  Good nearby park for dog to get a good run.  Will definitely return.

Good Site & Location

Site has excellent facilities & friendly Wardens. Handy for Forfar Town Centre & shops/supermarkets. Attractions in area include Glamis Castle & several NTS properties. Good walks with/without dog(s) around Forfar Loch. Only criticism on emerging from toilet/shower block the two paths angled obliquely to the left & right areas of the site (serving at least 50% of the pitches) are CONSPICUOUS BY THEIR ABSENCE! I felt this on my first visit to the site & it was emphasised by inclement weather on a recent visit.

Not had a bad stay yet

We are quite new to the caravan world and this was our very first trip from Aberdeen and it couldn't of been any better, the staff were very helpfull and talked us through the whole setup from pitching, levelling, and all the suff inside with the caravan and made a first time experience a good one. We've been back a few times since and enjoyed it the same as the first trip and not had a bad stay yet.

Weekend Break

Came up here from Perthshire for a weekend break. Extremely good toilet block and spotless site. Friendly, chatty wardens.  Nice loch side walk & handy for Forfar town centre.  Sensible price too - excellent!

Immaculate

Gorgeous, warm shower rooms and toilet block. Facilities are spotless, site is beautifully maintained by helpful, friendly staff. Lovely by the loch, but the rest of the site surroundings are uninspiring. Handy for Dundee, easy to get to, very reasonable fees, cheaper than many CLs with fewer facilities. Only there a couple of nights in February, can see it would be a great base for exploring the area.
