Lovely peaceful and very clean site, wardens extremely helpful and friendly, will definitely visit again.
Fairlight Wood
What a great little site, tucked away in lovely wooded countryside, fantastic for dog walking. Just sit and listen to the birds with a glass of wine in your hand, or take a short 5/10 minute stroll to the local pub for a meal. If you like the seaside Hastings is on the doorstep, or take the children to Camber Sands.
The site and facilities were immaculate, and the wardens super friendly. Will make this a regular stay, at least once, if not twice each year.
Peaceful site
Hidden away in woods down a lane and off a lane, this is a superb site and within easy reach of parts of the South Coast and inland attractions as well. Our only complaint was that there was damage to tv booster sockets, which really should have been spotted and fixed, but wardens can't be everywhere.

Another visit
Returned for a single night visit. This is one of our favourite sites, it is developed within a glade each pitch amongst trees. We have visited this site often and as others have mentioned the Wardens are delightful . The site is kept immaculate without intrusive and obvious maintenance going on . We will return again shortly. Ten out of ten for the attentive couple who run this spotless site.
Fantastic
Just what a Caravan Club Site should be - friendly and relaxed.
A site surrounded by mixed deciduous woodland where you can walk the dogs or walk through the woods to the Two Sawyers pub [10 minutes max]. 200 acres of Woodland Trust woodland opposite the site entrance and loads of other good walks.
The wardens are very helpful and trolleys to empty the bins and pedestrian mowers. They are NOT policing the site or racing around on tractors like many other sites I could mention and they are NOT getting tape measures out to see how far off the peg you are. Other sites could learn a lot from these guys.
We will be back.

Great site
This is a great site, small, very quiet and peaceful, be careful to follow the directory for directions or you will find yourself driving down a single track road with no passing places for 1.6 miles, we made the mistake! Good bus service to Hastings, we had a great time, although one day and night it rained like never before, we got soaked to the skin on Hastings prom. We will certainly visit again.
A little bit of paradise
We have stayed at this site many times, and was so surprised to read these comments about this lovely site. It has obviously been written by someone that doesn't like children! To go to a site on a school half term and not expect to find children enjoying themselves, should perhaps rethink their options. At least these children were out playing, and not glued to an iPad!
Half Term Spoilt Our Week
This could be a lovely site but if you are here with just one family with children watch out.
There is nowhere for children to play and so if they have their bicycles with them they hurtle round the site roads and grass with no care for other members. If the children are noisy and shout a lot, it echoes around in the trees and you get no peace. A quiet, tranquil garden it most definitely isn't. It is not fair to involve the Warden every time, so parents - if your children get bored playing quietly, please take them to a site with play facilities - not here.
The showers and toilets are fine, clean but out-dated and space in the showers is restricted.
We will not be returning.
If carlsberg did caravan sites...
I've just spent four nights and wished I'd booked longer.
This is the kind of site that I've been searching for.
Peaceful, quiet, beautiful and so relaxing.
Getting to fairlight can have its moments and I would suggest that carfull planning is considered. Narrow roads and inconsiderate drivers in a rush can add to the grey hairs as the try to pass at breakneck speeds. Avoid morning, noon and evening rush hour times.
After entering watermill lave you start to wonder if you've taken the wrong turn, as it starts to narrow and you haven't seen the sites sign. Just as the sweat starts at the thought thT you may have to reverse back, you see the entrance to this uptopia of caravanning. There's plenty to see and visit locally, so you won't ever be bored here.
