Lovely Peaceful Quiet Site

Lovely Site. Not much to do in the area apart from a few very tranquil shops, lovely pubs and nice walking areas but this was just up our street for a weekend break. Very peaceful had the river behind our caravan which was lovely and relaxing to hear. Very clean and tidy site and lovely wardens too. Thank you for a peaceful weekend away, just what the doctor ordered.

Excellent site !!

Just back from a week at Dulverton - what can I say that hasn't been said ?! A wonderful site in an excellent location - a warm welcome from the hard working, helpful staff and good sized pitches, and the facilities were spotlessly clean at all times. The village centre is a couple of minutes walk and has everything you could want/need, and The Bridge pub is brilliant - welcoming staff, good beer/cider and excellent food (you may need to book !). All this about 2 hrs from home - we'll be back !!

Beautiful location

Having arrived at the camp site we were struck by how clean and well kept it was. The wardens were very welcoming and informative. We had a pitch next to the showers and water taps etc but never found them unduly noisy even first thing on a morning. The village of Dulverton is small but had everything needed, PO, Co-op, bakery/deli and butchers. Just a note though it is on the side of a hill if you have any problems with mobility. Having a pub at the end of the lane just along from the campsite was definitely a bonus and it had a nice outside seating area (Bridge Inn). Only criticism would be that although the campsite is said to be just over the bridge because it looks as if its the pub car park the turning is easy to miss - well at least we did!!!

Excellent site

This was our 3rd visit in a year we stayed 8 nights with our 2 springers Alfie and Bonnie, the weather was perfect the whole week. Toilet/shower block spotlessly clean, grounds very well kept, wardens very helpful. We moved the 2nd day we were there had a great pitch near the dog walking area with lovely views of trees in front of us. Dog walking area small but adequate. Dulverton is just a few minutes stroll, it's a quaint little town with lovely little gift shops, the Co-op has everything you need if you prefer to self cater as we do. Some nice walks around and from the village. Tarr Steps nearby (£2 to park) lovely for walking the dogs safe for them to swim in some parts. Really friendly people on site had some great conversations. Wi-fi not worth buying as reception poor, can't comment on TV as we chose not to have one in the caravan but the majority of people do so I assume TV reception is ok. We would have loved to have stayed another week! ??????

Great little site

First visit and just for one night but we loved this site. A stones throw from the village centre which has everything you could want. Great pubs to eat in , well stocked shops etc. The wardens were friendly and facilities spotless.

First time use of a club site

This was our very  first time in a club  site and if all the  sites are  like  this we would only ever  want to choose them.it was a superb location, quiet, spotlessly clean everywhere you went. The town was very quaint, pretty with lots of local produce. There were 3 pubs, I only went in one by the river bridge olde world open fire, welcoming, well priced good quality meals. Fly fishing was available on the river too. P.s the toilets and shower's were heated a delight.will definitely return.
