Lovely quiet location with excellent facilities

Exmoor house was not our first choice of sites, but having visited it now feel pleased we visited this lovely quiet site.  The location is ideal for visiting Exmoor.  The village of Dulverton is quaint with excellent facilities, well stocked grocery store with freshly baked bread and rolls.  The are plenty of places to eat ranging from tea shops to restaurants/pubs.   There are lovely walks along the river and through the woods.   The wardens were friendly, keeping the site spic and span. I definitely recommend you stay if visiting Exmoor.

Another great week, despite the rain

We have stayed on this site a number of times over the years and never fails to please. Wardens do a first class job of running the site, the location is excellent - park the car and forget it. Local shops provide everything you need and the bridge inn does great ales and food. Good access for large outfits along the lanes and around the site. Have already booked for next new year!

New Year at Exmoor House

We stayed at Exmoor House over the New Year period. Arrived on time and received a lovely welcome from the Wardens, in addition to an invitation to a Mince Pie & glass of winein reception once we had settled in. The site is well situated on the edge of the town which has some lovely individual shops and dog friendly pubs. Facilities were spotlessly clean for the whole 6 nights we were there. This is our 2nd visit to Exmoor House and we will return again.

Not so Dulverton

Dulverton is not so dull. The town was delightful and everyone was so friendly. The staff at the site were very helpful and gave us some advice on where to visit. Maybe a couple of CC signs would have been useful to direct us into the site.

What a little gem.......

We adore Dulverton, and being able to pitch up and forget the car for a few days was wonderful. Given the edge of town location and the hoops the club must have junped through for the council to get this site, I can understand the lack of family facilities. It really is a lovely, clean, peaceful site and we look forward to our next stay

Short break in Exmoor

Great site in a beautiful location, facilities spotlessly clean staff helpful and pleasant. The only small comment is the dog walk is a little short. Great starting place to explore the Exmoor national park from. We have already booked are next visit.

Friendly clean site

This is the second visit to this site. It is very well kept and facilities are spotless. Great for walking straight from the site and within walking distance of pubs, restaurants and shops. The only criticism is that there are no baby facilities. We went with our baby grandson and when we asked if there were any baby facilities were told this was a site mainly used by 'older' people! Admittedly hadn't checked in advance but had assumed the Caravan Club catered for all ages.

Dog Friendly

First time at this site in early December, very wet!! Usual top class facilities and Wardens with flat, well laid out pitches. What surprised us was the nearness of Dulverton and the friendliness of all the locals. Dogs were welcome in most shops and cafes with the owners usually making a fuss of our pure white, Japanese Spitz. This made for a relaxing break in whatever shelter we found.

Could easily become our favourite site . . . . .

We stayed at this site at the end of November and fell in love with it. Perfect location with the great village of Dulverton a few footsteps away. The site is exceptionally clean (despite the awful weather leading up to our visit), the facilities are spotless and neatly centred on the site, and the owners are friendly and exceptionally helpful. Lots of good of good walks in the immediate vicinity - it is just a case of parking up, leaving your caravan or motorhome and wonderful walks and pubs are on your doorstep. Can't wait to go back!
