Great site, even better wardens

One of the nicest sites on the network with easy village access on foot and lots of local walks. We keep returning as it is so relaxing. This time we had some problems with our relatively new caravan which could have meant returning home had it not been for the excellent help from the Wardens. They recommended a local independent caravan Engineer (Swifty caravan solutions). He managed to diagnose the problem and allow us to use another system. We were able to continue our holiday. Unfortunately, one evening our gas supply ran out which would have left us with some real problems - not just cooking. Even though it was out of hours, Keith, the Warden answered our call and even though he had no bottles in stock, arranged one from a neighbouring site allowing us to run the van systems. We really appreciated it, especially because it was above and beyond all the good work that he and Debbie were doing to keep the site safe and pleasant for us all. Note: The White Lion in the High Street is worth a visit, as is the excellent Woods. Ask to be directed to the Bakery for homemade pies etc.

Nice site in lovely location.

Lovely site on the edge of Dulverton. We stayed when the site was full and it was lovely and quiet. Nice short walk into Dulverton where there are loots of places to eat and also a nice few shops. Facilities were clean and the staff member who greeted us was Lovely and welcoming.

Great site

Beautiful small site situated right in the heart of Dulverton, with friendly wardens and everything you need right outside the gates. Peaceful location with just the sound of the river running by. Will definitely be returning here again

Ideal for exploring Exmoor

One of the unsung Club sites, that never seems to receive the same recognition as other honeypot sites. The journey in is actually ok, just one narrowing as you approach the first bridge, just take is easy, and a left immediately before the Bridge Pub,Site signs are difficult to pick out. We only had the choice of 3 pitches, two of them in the banjo area behind reception,if Site was not so busy, there are better pitches, having said that we did have a large corner pitch. In the nearby area we actually walked to Tarr Steps, returning along the picturesque river Barle. Did Minehead ,Watersmeet, Lynton and Lynmouth, and the very pretty town or big village of Dunster. Cannot quote on the Covid toilet arrangements as used own facilities. All in all and lovely site and area, for our first visit.

A gem that's no longer hidden

Immaculate site, lovely town on the doorstep. Endless countryside surrounds. The trees are magnificent. The Bridge Inn is good for pub grub.

Great location

A lovely, relatively small site on the edge of a pretty town. Dulverton has a Co-op and a butchers plus a couple of pubs, one just 100 yds away. Great walks up into Burridge Wood and even all the way to Tarr Steps if you're up for it. Covid rules seems less intrusive here and there were rarely queues even though it was full. Staff were great. The only negative was we were told as we had a small van we had to have one of the small pitches, we paid the same as everyone else so should have had the same choice of pitch as everyone else.

Great experience

This is the first outing in our van we bought at the end of 2019 and what a fantastic experience it was,the location is fantastic, the wardens, Keith and Debbie were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, the site is spotlessly clean, very convenient to local amenities in the village of Dulverton,as we had our Labrador with us the walks are amazing and the opportunity for her to frequent the river Barle completed the visit. To the fellow visitors at the site thank you as you were all very helpful and a wealth of knowledge for us as new to motorhoming! We were booked for 1 night but added a night. A great experience all round and will definitely revisit this site with no hesitation. Thanks to all of you for making this a great first experience to motorhoming!

One of the very best!

Fantastic site. Small and peaceful. Beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. Lovely friendly wardens. Dulverton is a stones throw away. A pretty village with shops including a great butchers and a great chip shop, Thai restaurant and a couple of lovely pubs selling great food. Lots of walks direct from the site. Perfect location. We will definitely return.

Fantastic Covid Safe Site

The staff were so welcoming and the safeguards they have put in place regarding Covid were brilliant! I Iove the new band sysytem. I would recommend a stay as the safety measures are excellent. As always a lovely relaxing site to visit. Well done!
