This was our first visit to an Afiliated Site. A lovely welcome and a well run site but surprisingly not quite as good as Club Sites. The pitches are all smaller than on a club site and the shower blocks are a little run down. However, don't let this put you off as you can walk from the site down to Lee Cove a beautiful rocky beach to spend a warm sunny afternoon. Woolacombe beach is just over a mile down a quiet green road. A fantastic expansive sandy beach just as you would imagine a Devon beach should be. If you are looking for a site that enables easy access to several beaches and fantastic views from your pitch then you will love staying here. Hope you enjoy your break as much as we did!
Excellent site
This is an outstanding site! The staff are very polite and helpful and the reception is well stocked with information and leaflets. The pitches are well spaced and each has been levelled and gravelled. If erecting an awning you will need heavy duty pegs (available in the shop if you forget). The toilets, showers, washrooms, washing up and laundry facilities are all spotlessly clean. Each block is shut in turn for cleaning so there is always one available. The shop is well stocked and run by an exceptionally friendly family. The views are stunning as the site is on the side of a hill overlooking the sea. Local walks take you along the coast with great views and ideal spots to watch the local seals sunbathing.
I would thoroughly recommend this site to anyone and fully intend on returning a sap.

Stunning Site!
I cannot speak highly enough of this site. The views are breathtaking, and although the site was near full being Bank Holiday weekend, the facilities were never over whelmed. The staff and owners take great care to ensure an enjoyable stay, and everyone is so pleasant and helpful. The shower block was spotlessly clean and convenient but I do wish users would tidy up after themselves - obviously not CC members!!! The shop was well stocked and the freshly baked croissant are highly recommended. We will be back to this site - hopefully next year with more of our family to share not just the site but whole area.
Damage Barton
This was our first ever experience of a club site as we are new motorhomers. We were pleasantly surprised with the standard of facilities at Damage & not having young children anymore, happy with the noise levels due to the pitches being very well spaced. Very friendly chap in the shop & great location. Will definitely return when next down that way.
Fantastic Site
Our family including 2 dogs were lucky enough to get a last minute booking and on arrival were really pleased to get a pitch on the edge of the large field with amazing views. Loved the area, the fantastic walks and scenery on the doorstep and the great staff including the superbly stocked shop run on the site. Best morning croissants ever !! It was our first time to Damage Barton and we plan to come back next year. Thanks lots !!

Heaven.
A large site with lots of kids who were all extremely well behaved and having fun. Even so it was still nice and peaceful. In an enviable location with superb views over the sea. Facilities are excellent and it has a well stocked shop. Lots of nice local pubs and tea rooms and shops for tea and beer and food. The local walks are superb with some challenging cliff walks if that is your thing. I can highly recommend the coastal path walk to Woolacombe, about 6 miles of the most stunning scenery you will find. All in all I could find absolutely no faults with this site and we will definitely be returning.
excellent site
an excellent site , facilities clean and well presented, lots of walks from the site including local village Mortehoe. enjoyed a wonderful fortnight , coastal walks are stunning and manageable .

Excellent Campsite
Staff really helpful & super friendly. Site really clean, immaculate in fact. Fantastic site for dogs, and all pitches maintained to an excellent standard. Will definitely be returning, could not fault it. Shelley,Adam & Ernie Broomfield x
Excellent yet again!
Came here for a three day stop over from another site (not a caravan club site I must add as we left it in disgust!)
Turned up early expecting to have to wait in the car park until allowed on site, but was greeted with a wonderful smile and welcome and told that we could be accommodated without any hassle! Really pleased with this after our last experience at the other site.
Like last year when we came..spotlessly maintained.
The weather was really against everyone this month but that aside, we just felt totally relaxed once on our pitch and chilled out!
Not really a lot to add to be honest. The guys here are meticulous in looking after this place and it really shows too!
Can we complain really? If it is to be one minor niggle..perhaps a drop down seat in the shower area to keep your stuff off the floor whilst showering ?
Apart from that...love the place
I could write loads of 'guff' and really go to town with this place, but there's no need!
Well worth the time and effort getting here.
Would we come again? But of course!
Spot on!

Just Wonderful.
Been to this site a few times, and it's just wonderful.
Access is via a narrow road, and as long as your careful, and patient with other road users (who pull in for you usually) is not an issue as passing places are frequent.
The site is well situated with views of the sea, and headland. As such, it can get blustery, so tie down for awning recommended.
Toilets are clean and well looked after-with a completely new block being built at the top of the site.
The sites shop is open from 08.00-20.00 & offers everything from Beer (horay!) to bread and at very reasonable prices.
There is a local bus hourly at 3.60 adult single from Illfracombe, but £8ish gets you a day rover.
Stunning walks, and well spaced out pitches (some sites locally really ram them in).
Great, friendly staff, and lovely walks.
Ideal.
