Culloden caravan club site is excellent in every way, friendly staff, clean, warm and well maintained facilities, the grounds kept neat and tidy, all due to the hard working staff, can't fault anything and always love to spend time there usually 3 times a year. It is well situated and a good distance from the hustle and bustle of Inverness.
pitches
Culloden moor has always been a lovely clean, quiet and friendly site and still is . Our only disappointment is the pitches are starting to get overgrown with weeds and grass. this never happened before, is this cut backs on weed killer or are the wardens hours cut ?
Ticks all the boxes
A lovely site, well looked after and beautiful surroundings. Slightly sloping pitches but nothing a couple of blocks can't sort out, and if you can get the higher pitches fantastic views. Just spent two weeks here and can't fault anything
Our third site in Scotland
This site is well located to visit the battlefield and Visitor Centre. The Black Isle and Cromarty are also well worth a visit. Excellent dog walk in adjoining woodland. All usual facilities well kept with helpful wardens. A bit disappointed that the views from site only from higher pitches with our pitch close to noisey road and limited outlook. However this didn't spoil our stay and site is a great place to explore the local area from.
Recent stay on this excellent site
We arrived on the 9th July for 3 nights wished we had booked more so much to do so we will have to come back again . The site is slightly sloping you will need blocks the site is well kepted and everything was clean. A good play area for the children and good walks in the local forest for dog owner's
A Highland Gem
Just had four nights stay at this site and loved it. Just the right size, excellent facilities and a lovely location. The weather smiled on us which helps. There is so much to see from the site and we would have liked to stay for longer. Will certainly come back for a much longer stay. If Culloden Moor had wifi it would have been perfect.
Ideal Highland base but weather could have been better
Stayed at Culloden Moor from 5 June for 9 nights. Site was well laid out with minor levelling required on pitch, decent toilet/shower block facilities, good dog walks in adjacent woods and friendly wardens. Weather was indifferent during stay highlighting site fairly exposed at top end despite adjacent woods but storm straps ensured that awning stayed in situ. Had car for majority of stay which provided access to nearby Inverness (decent shopping centre), along the coast to places like Nairn & Elgin and to local attractions including the Cairngorms and Loch Ness. Culloden battlefield was only 30 minute walk from site. Only frustration (for my wife) was lack of wifi on site but not too bad as was nice to have 9 days internet free - although a number of reviews highlight TV reception issues personally did not experience any problems. Would consider revisiting this site as ideal base for visiting a lot of Highland attractions but would be even better with "decent" weather.
Great site
Just back from another stay at Culloden. Weather was mixed, ranging from dry and sunny to gale force winds and sideways rain. Some have said tv reception was poor - I switched on tv, did the usual 60 second search, and had over forty tv channels, and that was without any adjustment to the aerial. Likewise did a dab scan on the radio and had a full selection of digital radio channels. Our wifi dongle didn't work at table top height but stick it on the top shelf and full signal, so perhaps it all depends on the pitch you end up on. Site was clean as it always is, wardens were putting out flower pots and tubs, giving it a well cared for look. Wardens were all very friendly. All in all a really good site.

Brilliant dog walk!
Stayed here for access to Culloden battlefield, which was excellent. Site very good, wardens very friendly, definite paws up from Tess the collie, who thought the dog walk one of the best! Only criticism was road noise, which started quite early in morning and I'm on holiday!!
