Quite stay.

This was my first visit to this site. I had the most peaceful stay at this very beautiful immaculate and friendly site. The facilities where second to none. I can't wait to visit Coniston again. I would like to thank the friendly and helpful staff for our stay.

Fantastic holiday

I would really like to thank you for a wonderful holiday. The site is beautiful it was immaculate. Plenty of hot water. Excellent facilities for my every requirement. And the staff were so helpful not only with site information but also where to go and what to do. Well done. It is the first caravan club site I have been on. I will definatley be returning and also be going to more of your sites if Conniston is anything to go by

Autumn Break

This site was our first stop over on our way to Scotland, but it is much more than a stop over, so much to see and do in this area. Fantastic toilet block, great set of wardens all had plenty of time for us, nothing seemed too much trouble. The site itself is mainly under trees but all very spacious. Good cycling and walking routes in the area, the approach road the A593 is narrow in places so caution is the word. All in all a great site will be back soon.

Coniston revisited

Our second visit to this delightful site. The pitches are all set in the woods with lots of spaces between pitches in several different areas, Lovely walks to Coniston or to Torver by the side of the Lake plus plenty of good walks from the campsite. There are 3 different shower blocks so wherever you decide to pitch it is never very far to go to use the facilities. Plenty of pubs selling decent meals within walking distance plus a variety of shops in Coniston which is not as busy of as commercial as some of the other Lakeland towns. Wardens are all very friendly and helpful as well. It is one of those sites where you will always go back to as there are so many things to do and it is so pretty and peaceful.

Super Site

Nice walk into Coniston and back also other great walks to be had e.g. Old Man of Coniston. Staff very friendly and the layout makes you think you are on a much smaller site. Tree drips may be a problem for some if it rains but I find them relaxing.

Lovely Site

This was our first time staying at a club site and have to say it was wonderful, the staff were very friendly and helpful, they even gave our kids a pack which had a treasure hunt and other activitys which kept them busy. The wash rooms were immaculate and toasty warm, the pitch itself was a little uneven but its to be expected as all the pitches are set out throughout the woods. It’s only a short walk to the shore of Coniston Water via Coniston Hall Campsite. The only down side for us was the drive to the site itself, there are some very narrow roads and blind bends which if like us you are new to towing a caravan it can be a little bit daunting but don’t let that put you off. Highly recommended! Will be back soon!

heaven on earth

We have returned to this site after a four year absence and it just gets better. So quiet on site yet within half an hour or so you are in the village. Plenty of very nice walks all around. The local pubs also have plenty to offer in the way of good beer and food. The warden's are always so nice, will not leave it so long next time. Also great place if you have pets.Love it?

A great place to camp

This is a well laid out and very attractive site. It is woded so pitches are set in small glades giving a good measure of peace and privacy. The facilities are warm, light and airy and are kept immaculately clean. The site is very close to the lake allowing for some pleasant walks or access for boating if that is your pleasure. Lakes bueaty spots are nearby and it is an excellent base for exploration either on foot, or by car. The warden and staff are very friendly and helpful and must work very hard to keep the site looking so good. We had a delightful few days here as summer packed its bags for the winter and we will definitely come back next year.

Great place

Stayed for 4 nights in October. The site is large and well spaced with very helpful wardens. The cleanliness of the facilities is remarkable - it's hard to understand how they keep everything so pristine. Location is good. Coniston and Torver are within an attractive (off road) easy 40 minute walk. Great pubs in both Coniston and Torver. Coniston is well connected by a good bus service covering the central lakes. Only improvement would be complimentary Wi-Fi - but this is perhaps a club wide issue.
