Wonderful stay, as always, at Coniston Hall Park

We have just returned from a wonderful week away, staying at this fabulous site - one of our favourites. The location could not be better and the addition of heavy snow fall made the area incredibly picturesque. The new warden and his wife were excellent and extremely helpful in the snowy conditions - thank you! We will be back!

Christmas stay

Stayed here over the Christmas period and as always the site was kept clean and tidy even with all the rain. A big thanks to the wardens for the warm welcome. This site is well kept and even with all the rain over our stay it never got waterlogged. Showers etc kept to the same high standards as all CC sites.

xmas 2015

This is a lovely quiet site shame about the rain but still enjoyed our 12 night stay helped by the fantastic set of wardens who went out of their way to be helpful making a great effort to allow our son and his wife find a pitch on a very busy site once again full marks very deserved

Wonderful location

Despite the rain we really enjoyed our stay on this site. It's in an excellent location for walking and visiting other places. Very warm, clean facilities and the wardens were friendly and very helpful.

Beautiful location

This was our second trip to the site, we stayed for around 10 nights 2 years ago during a hot summer and this time we stayed for 3 nights at the end of September. We love the peace & quiet and the pure beauty of the area. The site is immaculate, the wardens friendly and very helpful. We climbed the Old Man of Coniston and shopped til we dropped in Bowness on Windermere.  Lake Coniston is just beautiful and there are many walks to enjoy the area. We will be back very soon

Autumn Weekend

Our second visit and a weekend of mixed weather and autumn colours. The mountain biking and road cycle routes from the campsite must be some of the best in the country. We also recommend to food and warm welcome at the nearby Ship Inn.

Always a winner

We have been to this site several times. The staff are friendly and the facilities a clean and well looked after. A great location for walking/riding into Coniston Village. It is also a great location to go and visit the numerous lake district sites. Only one small issue- There isn't a squeegee/mop in the toddler bathroom.

Other than that we'll be back again next year.Cool
