Peacefull , good base for exploring .

First visit , would defiantly return . Lovely pleasant staff , maintaining site very well . Facilities spotless , extra shower / toilet block . Disabled shower room excellent , roomy . Lovely play area . Very quiet , lots of flat pitches to choose from . Ideal base for touring Wales . Porthmadog , short drive away meets all your shopping needs and railway / boat enthusiasts heaven . Only minor gripe .... Those "cling to you " shower curtains, please caravan club change is needed on all sites .

Couple seniors

A spotless, flat and beautiful site ideally situated for attractions in the area. Great facilities, pleasant, helpful staff and spacious pitches. Excellent dog walk and easy recycling bins. We will definitely return.

Excellent base for exploring Snowdonia.

This site is excellent in many ways. Location, layout of the pitches and l must mention the staff who going that extra mile was not far enough to keep us, the visitors happy. I would certainly head straight for this site when visiting North Wales again. The only reason I have only gave it a four tick overall is the facilities on site. Yes they are generally all there but I felt they could do with an refurbishment. Especially increasing the size of the laundrette as at times this became a bottleneck. Also I had hope to find a drying room similar to the room at the Bunree site in the West Highlands. Considering Snowdonia is an outdoor type of area. Otherwise it certainly is a five tick site.

hols this year

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean site but toilet block dated. Clean but need to thinking about upgrade. If you like to walk everywhere from the site think again. You have to drive all the time. Dog walk small compared to other sites.

A nice friendly site

This was one of the first sites we stayed at and the service and site is one of the best we have stopped at highly recommend this very friendly site.

Superb site

Lovely site, all pitches not far away from the facilities. Very friendly people. Lovely play area. Wish we had found the laundry facilities though instead of having to go into town.

Great Base for Exploring North Wales

We had a fabulas 8 night stay over the August Bank holiday weekend, well kept, clean and managed site - Well done CC and Wardens - we will return.

Gem of a site

My wife and i really enjoyed this site, friendly staff and clean facilities. Try the Water Fall Inn for a really good, reasonably priced meal and walk to the actual water fall, about two miles, quite spectacular and beautiful scenery. Portmeirion is only a short ride away and well worth a visit. We will definitely visit this site again.

Relaxing

Lovely clean site, wardens were wonderful! Only gripe would be the firing up of the mini tractor @ 9am prompt; very noisy! Site was immaculate, beautifully tended. Views are non existent and facilities off of the site limited but with a peaceful aura and bird song plentiful it fulfilled our parties needs. Despite being a bank holiday weekend and packed, the site was peaceful; possible a little too peaceful if you are chatter boxes like us ?? ... If you need a restful break please don't hesitate ... X

Perfect setting for Snowdonia touring

Good site in a great location. Well laid out with excellent facilities that are well maintained. Helpful, friendly warden. Good spot if touring the Snowdonia area. Also has a nearby bus stop should you wish to leave the car behind.
