This is a great site especially for dog owners with plenty of forest walks nearby .Unfortunately the showers and toilets are in need of a refurb and not up to the standards of other Caravan club sites. But this didn't stop us having a lovely time with excellent weather and although the site was full it was quiet and the pitches are spacious so it didn't feel overcrowded .It was good to see the chip van arrive on Friday evening as the site has no eating venues within walking distance ,and I can recommend the chips and fish .Try to have a trip into the centre of Clumber park and eatat the cafe ,the food is excellent and the lake area is well worth a visit .
One night stay on way to Northumbria , caravaners for 6 years and caravan club members . So disappointed was not worried about pitch or view as one night ,toilet and shower facilities way below anything we have had before showers small and unclean and way to few for so many on site . Arrived River Beamish site so much better maybe clumber park should go see how other sites keep caravan club standards . Would not be in a hurry to go back .
Stayed at clumber park for first time, the staff were very helpful, the site is lovely, my grandson thought it was amazing he played in the park all day, lovely for kids, loads of pitches, can't wait to return
The site is well located and pitches are excellent. However the toilet and shower fact facilities are dated and in need of refurbishment. They are clean but inferior to other similar priced sites.
First time I have visited this site and totally love it, people very friendly, site very clean, excellent pitches. Excellent for my husbands mobility Scooter and my three westies just loved it.
Love Clumber Park and have booked again.

I have stayed at this site a number of times now & have just enjoyed another bank holiday weekend there. The site was full but still didn't feel overcrowded, the wardens were all friendly & the site was kept very clean. Looking forward to my next visit in July.
Just spent three nights here, a lovely site in a good location. The only slight moan would be that there could be a better system for handing the keys in at the end. Unless I missed it, there is often a box to post your barrier key into on exiting, unfortunately here you have to stop the other side of the barrier and go into the office to drop the key off an there isn't really room to do this without holding up others trying to leave. On the whole, a great site in a great location.
We chose a couple of days at Clumber Park at the end of April. You would suppose that our spring weather would have kicked in by then! Alas.....no! Notwithstanding the blizzard conditions our stay was very enjoyable. This is the cleanest site we have ever experienced and we found the staff friendly and helpful. Well done caravan club. A special mention for the impeccable toilet blocks!!
We have been using this club site since our children were small, perhaps 15 years, and have always found it to be welcoming and the facilities clean.
We like to be 'close to nature' and so being here in the heart of the forest is heavenly in our view. We have enjoyed a variety of wildlife over the years - but this year for the first time saw two deer, and watched a very large bird of prey (possibly a buzzard, or a red kite) being mobbed by a crow. Like other sites, members respect others' privacy and night time noise is negligible. We love it.
