First Trip Experience

We chose to come to Cirencester after a number of recommendations. We have nothing to compare it with at this stage as it was our first trip in our newly acquired camper van. We decided that, if we did not like the experience we would put the van on ebay the next day!Well, we could not have been happier with our treatment on arrival and the simplicity of it all during our stay. The staff could not have been more helpful and the ambiance of the place excellent. Facilities were good and everything on hand.Walking to town is spectacular through the Park. The size of the sites are such that nobody needs to encroach on each other. There was a quiet friendliness amongst the people staying there. We will be back I am sure.

Fairford Air Tattoo

Beautiful site in a perfect location for an early start to arrive at Fairford Airfield before the big rush. We received a warm welcome on arrival. Initially we couldn't get a signal using our satellite dish, due to surrounding trees, but with perseverance it was achieved. We have recommended this site to friends and look forward to our next visit.

Great Wardens

Due to road closure we arrived late but Mr & Mrs Hill greeted us with a big smile. Nothing was too much for them. Toilets brilliant. Site is well kept. Definatly would go again.

great site for airshow weekend

We stayed at Cirencester last weekend, great location, close to town, only a few miles from RAF Fairford, site well kept with facilities that are a credit to the staff and caravan club. Well recommended, we shall certainly be returning.

Air show weekend

Brilliant location and great setting. Close to all amenities and very well run indeed. The best site for me so far. Grass pitches are large and easily accessible. The hard standings looked smaller and we're definitely more crowded. Wonderful staff and great facilities, clean and efficient. We will definitely be back , the place is so central to all of the Cotswolds and there is so much to see in the area.

A wonderful place to stay!

I would like to thank Mr and Mrs Hill for a great stay at Cirencester park. all staff are warm, welcoming and never stop working to make sure that everyone has a lovely stay. the park is kept clean at all times and the toilet / shower blocks are outstanding. There is a Pizza takeaway and Fish and Chips on certain days that you can buy on the site if you fancy a night away from cooking. There is only about a ten minute walk into town in which you can either take a wonderful and relaxing walk through Cirencester park, with great views of the manor house and church or walk / cycle the main road. either way has lovely scenery. We can not wait to stay again for another relaxing stay. Thank you again. I would strongly recommend this fantastic caravan site to everyone.

Lovely site. Shame about the building works next door

The site is ideally placed and is beautifully kept. There were warnings about building work at the college next door so we set up on the far side of the park. This helped a lot but was sometimes still a little noisy (and required a tramp to the toilet block). Little the club could do about this and is fortunately temporary.

Up there with the best

Just had a long weekend at Cirencester Park, very relaxing, quiet, friendly people including the wardens, who do an excellent job, given the provocation that they have to put up with by some members. We didn't have to move our unit as we parked correctly, yes there was the odd pile of fox poo here and there, but we are in a country park after all!!!  The site is situated within a twenty minute amble through the lovely park in the Bathurst Estate (wheelchair/mobility scooter friendly) to the ancient town of Cirencester, full of history and little nooks and crannies that house various shops, cafes, eateries, independent fruit and veg shops , great butchers, good pubs and the usual Tesco express, Morrisons, M&S food etc.You need time to fully explore this little town, but be aware that the gates to the park are closed at 5pm each day and if you are late then you will have to walk up the hill along the road, back to the site. Quite a few bus stops in the town centre with buses to many places fairly frequently. You can do without the car for a stress free break here. one final point of caution, make sure that you have a 25metre hook up as you will need it on a few of the pitches. Also agree with others that the approach road is full of potholes and needs some caution. We will be returning in the autumn.

Very regimented

We were asked to move our caravan twice in two days which caused us a lot of inconvenience. The access road is very narrow and full of potholes due to poorly maintained road. Also the pitches are not spaced out well enough to the extent that parking your caravan is a very regimented process, particularly if you have a large outfit with awning side annexes. However, the toilet blocks were excellent. Very new, modern and clean.

Lovely site to visit Cirencester

We stayed here for its vicinity of the Cotswold show, i.e next door to it.  Its a well planned site with plenty of facilities, so many showers and toilets all were clean.  There are some lovely walks in the area including a scenic walk in to the town through Earl Bathurst's  estate.  Its about a 15min walk to the town that is definitely worth a visit.
