Wonderful wardens

We Visited over the Easter holiday and were greeted by the wonderful wardens. They are friendly and cheerful people would made us very welcome. The weather was not fantastic due to the rain and winds, but the warden made a point of informing people who had an awning that there was high winds forcast as to prepare. It is small touches such as this that go a long way. The site has cut back bushes and trees which has opened the area up without losing it's beauty.  Cleaning the toilet block when a lot of people are out is a fantastic idea, a lot more sites could adapt this.  Looking forward to our next visit soon. Keep the good work Penny and fellow wardens, you are doing a fantastic job!

Super Site

This is a really good site for location and overall layout. We haven't been for a few years but it is every bit as good as we remember. Wardens are superb and a very refreshing occurrence is that the toilet blocks are cleaned early afternoon not at 10-30 in the morning like most sites. Not that we are lazy nor late risers but how great that if you want a lazy morning shower you can take your time. Perhaps more sites should try this as it doesn't seem to inconvenience the Wardens.

A corker of a site !

This site is a regular haunt for us over Easter and for bank holidays durings April/May and we have visited several times during the last 7 years.  It never disappoints.  The wardens are fab, very welcoming, especially to our two boys and always encourage the kids to join in with the Tourer Explorer activities.  A colouring competition was organised for Easter this year and added to the excitement for our 5 year old, especially when he won!  We visited for 5 nights and despite the grotty weather and mucky wellies everywhere, the facilities are still immaculate.  Top marks to the wardens on this site, they are the 'creme de la creme' of site wardens !  We will definately return again!

Another good one

This is our second time on the site, we stayed 4 years ago. It was the summer last time so a lot different this time. We have never been out this early in the year so didn't know what to expect. The welcome was a Welsh one so it don't get better than that. The facilities are spotless, tempurture was just right in the toilet block. The site was a little wet but there is nothing you can do about Mother Nature. One thing I will say is that I was disappointed on the last day to see the warden having to clean the toilets as they had been abused and someone had thought it the right thing to block and mess all over the walls. Well the warden should not have to clean this but for a members club site I would not expect it from its members. I really struggle to see what someone would get out of this. You should treat the shower block like your own homes, then it is kept clean for others. I hope not to see this again especially on a members only site. I don't think people like this should be in the club. Well done Wardens 10 out of 10.

perfect

the site itself is in a very good location,  a gentle stroll left out of the site finds you in the park where it is an easy walk into the town.  The facilities are spotless & good dog walking facilities. The wardens,  what can I say, they were so friendly & helpful, made our stay all the more enjoyable, we will return

First of many !

We are new to caravanning and not wishing to travel too far we chose Cirencester Park for our very first holiday. From the moment we arrived through to our departure three days later we had so much help from the site personnel (Tony in particular) and our neighbours in vans around us. The site is quiet and just a 15 minute walk from the centre of town, through a lovely park. The facilities were spotless. The 3 day holiday could not have been better. Thank you to all our "new" friends.

WONDERFUL WARDEN

Apart from being one of our favourite sites we have visited often and recommend highly. We have just returned from our Easter break at site, on arrival we were just about to make cup of tea when my husband knocked over a carton of milk all over all the seating and cushions in our new caravan on it's first trip! All I can say is THANK GOODNESS for wardens like PENNY on site she saved the day by helping us out with her own items to help us clean it up. We were so grateful. I don't normally write reviews but she was great. Thanks again Penny.

Nearly perfect, thank you!

Just returned from a 4 night Easter break, we were on pitch 104 which we love as a bit more space around you. We actually live in Cirencester but drive two miles to go to this site for some respite. All the wardens are lovely, very friendly, it's a very quiet site with a well stocked shop and fab washrooms and showers. The dog field is brilliant to throw a ball and let your dog have a wee first thing and before you go to bed and you are 200 yards from the Bathurst Estate and Cirencester Park, perfect dog walking on the doorstep, you can walk through Cirencester Park down in to the centre of Cirencester so no you don't need the car once you get to the site. We always have a good stay here and despite extremely windy and wet conditions this time we still had a great time. What would make it absolutely perfect, a hose to wash dogs down after a walk in Cirencester Park, we were talking to the wardens about this and they were coming up with fab ideas, this would be brilliant for us when we don't have the awning up to rinse off the dogs before getting them back into our new van :)  A park bench in the dog field, there are some elderly people who love a chat but can't stand for too long or even my husband and I were up at the field and the sun was setting and it was stunning, would have been lovely to sit on a bench and watch the sun go down while the dogs played. The only other thing is if you are on the lower end of the site plots 104 etc it would be good to have a gravel path in a direct line to the toilet block/pizza van as it gets quite boggy walking across the grass and if its pouring with rain its a bit of a diversion to walk down to the barrier and back up again to the toilet block if you want to stick to the path and keep your feet dry. All in all even if we moved away from Cirencester we would still come back and holiday here as Cirencester is a lovely town and the site is well positioned for all facilities.
