Nearly perfect, thank you!

Just returned from a 4 night Easter break, we were on pitch 104 which we love as a bit more space around you. We actually live in Cirencester but drive two miles to go to this site for some respite. All the wardens are lovely, very friendly, it's a very quiet site with a well stocked shop and fab washrooms and showers. The dog field is brilliant to throw a ball and let your dog have a wee first thing and before you go to bed and you are 200 yards from the Bathurst Estate and Cirencester Park, perfect dog walking on the doorstep, you can walk through Cirencester Park down in to the centre of Cirencester so no you don't need the car once you get to the site. We always have a good stay here and despite extremely windy and wet conditions this time we still had a great time. What would make it absolutely perfect, a hose to wash dogs down after a walk in Cirencester Park, we were talking to the wardens about this and they were coming up with fab ideas, this would be brilliant for us when we don't have the awning up to rinse off the dogs before getting them back into our new van :)  A park bench in the dog field, there are some elderly people who love a chat but can't stand for too long or even my husband and I were up at the field and the sun was setting and it was stunning, would have been lovely to sit on a bench and watch the sun go down while the dogs played. The only other thing is if you are on the lower end of the site plots 104 etc it would be good to have a gravel path in a direct line to the toilet block/pizza van as it gets quite boggy walking across the grass and if its pouring with rain its a bit of a diversion to walk down to the barrier and back up again to the toilet block if you want to stick to the path and keep your feet dry. All in all even if we moved away from Cirencester we would still come back and holiday here as Cirencester is a lovely town and the site is well positioned for all facilities.

Windy Easter weekend

Arrived late Saturday afternoon – warm welcome from the wardens, because it was a busy weekend plots have been allocated by the wardens – excellent spot for our caravan. This is our second visit to this site and good site to choose if you enjoy walking - great walks in Cirencester park and the town is only 25 mins away. Great pubs and restaurant – had a late lunch our early dinner because of the bad weather that had been forecast. This is a lovely site and we will come back again later in the year.

Very good site for motorhomes

We found the site to be in a excellent location to walk or cycle into Cirencester an easy walk through the park or via the road. The site is well laid out with spotless shower / wc facilities a credit to the friendly efficient wardens the site is peacefull and quiet with an abundance of wildlife our cat Freddie loved it he watched the rabbits and birds all day . Listen for the woodpeckers in the woods.

A gem of a site

First time at Cirencester, called in for 2 nights to break the journey from Ferry Meadows to home in Torquay, what a great site, first class wardens who take a pride in the site, spotlessly clean facilities and a first class dog exercise field as well as good walks in the adjacent park, Cirencester is an easy walk of around 20-30 minutes and a lovely town full of independent shops and cafes, it is certainly on our list of favourite sites and we have already made 2 further bookings. Excellent Weekend Break

Lovely weekend at Cirencester, site easy to get to around the ring road of the town.  The approach lane is a little rough as other reviewers say, but not that bad, and once in the site it was a calm oasis.  We were on Pitch 77 well away from the college buildings, and at a weekend there was no-one there anyway.  Facilities excellent on site, toilet block so clean with plenty of showers and toilets, the dog exercise field a good size for a run and nice friendly wardens too.  There were easy walks with the dog either through Bathurst Estate or along the road to get into Cirencester. Cirencester was a great town with lots of little boutique shops, cafes etc, and also the park behind the church was a nice bonus.  I am sure we will be back again at some point in the future.

poor for a cc site

Sorry but for a caravan club site this is quite poor. Not all the sites fault, but, right next to a college that is having extensive building(4/5 stories tall).fork lifts working with there reversing bleepers going and all that goes with a large building site.site entrance road is full of potholes and is also the contractors entrance for the college.Small areas of concern about the site are ,narrow roads around site causing the vehicles to have to go acrros the grass making it muddy on most corners.(could be filled with gravel)exit very tight for larger outfits.road noise and aircraft noise.at 6:30 am i thought i was parked at a car/bike raceway.I thought this was a no commercial sites.it had horse boxes and commercial vans/pickups dotted all over making it feel like a workers paradise.(maybe they where working next door).toilets clean and warm and good staff and not there fault about some earlier remarks. they have been working by cutting alot of trees in the site but not where needed. wont be returning sorry.

First Trip of the Year

Just returned from 5 great days at Cirencester Park Club Site. As always with Club Sites everything was as we have come to expect; warm welcome from the Wardens, assistance where needed and shower and toilet blocks to an exceptional standard. Situated adjacent to the Bathurst Estate and within 15 minute walk to Cirencester. Great dog walking area as well as walks within the Estate. Although there were only hardstanding available the Wardens were working extremely hard preparing the grassed area. I have to agree with other reviews reference access to the site, it can be very tight when passing the College entrance. Also people arriving before 12 o'clock do not help the problem as I encountered today. All in all a very enjoyable stay and we intend to visit again in the Summer.
