This was our third visit to Cirencester Park this year, well we only live forty minutes away and we have made it our bolt hole. This time we were accompanied by three of our grandchildren, as well as Alfie, our new pup. What can I say that hasn't been said already? Lets just say that it never fails to please, great walks, immaculate facilities, glorious setting, friendly wardens and members that actually speak to each other in this most relaxing of sites. We were parked next to the college and the noise was not obtrusive, lets face it people have to work, then again we weren't on site for long periods. The grandchildren enjoyed making new friends and didn't want to go home, that says it all. We didn't try the fish'n'chip van as we didn't think much of them last time. We did walk the lovely walk to town twice, we also walked along the meandering tracks in the Bathurst Estate, you know when you can't go any further, so don't force the issue and spoil it for others, as it is a concession and not a right to walk in the grounds, follow the country code and leave only your footprints. To sum up, this is a site where you can pitch up and enjoy life, without he need of any motor vehicles at all, let the bus take the strain, relax and enjoy.... We do.
It was our first time away in our new caravan, and first time caravaners. We chose this site as it had very good reviews and was so impressed with the kindness, helpfulness and welcome the staff gave us with plenty of advice! The site was impeccable with very clean toilet blocks all the time during our stay. Our daughter enjoyed the little play park. The atmosphere on the park was really happy with people helping each other out when another couple were unable to unhitch their van!! All in all, a fantastic first weekend away - can't wait to use the van again!
