Excellent site but for.....

Entrance to site is via lane along side college and school which gets very congested at by parents cars and children that take no care for passing caravans. Most of the lane is very uneven and full of pot holes.... so take care. The other problem we encountered was due to the only pitches available we where close to the road that led to the dog walking area WHY do dog owners have to let there dogs bark at any and everything on sight especially at 6am in the morning when most people are trying to sleep. We used to be dog owners, its not unreasonable to train your dog to be quiet when it needs to be. On the plus side wardens where realy helpful and the toilet block was immaculate,  and its an easy walk into town

Good site but...

lovely site, stayed often but now that the entrance road is appalling and has already damaged our vehicle, we have to find other options, unfortunately

Cirencester Marsh 2016

Great site ,very friendly staff, and ease of walking in to Cirencester for a day of shopping.  Not far from Swindon or Wotton Bassett. Great site

Great weekend potter.

Difficult to rate for families as we were a group of 3 adults but the ones we saw during our 3 night stay seemed to be enjoying themselves and there was certainly some cracking cycling and play area space for them to enjoy. Pity some drivers still don't seem to understand what 5mph is. Perhaps the club should focus more on 1st gear only as its approach as most speed dials start at 10 mph? Anyway back to the stay and us adults; was a perfect location for a chill out weekend with both the town and the park on our doorstep and a particularly helpful closing time for the loo blocks which allowed us to fully enjoy our relaxing mornings. Pity the estate owners don't allow dog owners to explore more of the estate but their prerogative I guess and the spaniel was happy enough for a weekend explore. The only "issue" to be aware of - quite a few pitches appeared to be on a slope so remember to bring levellers (won't forget next time so won't need the borrow from the wardens) And on the subject of wardens, I do like to finish on a high, what a particularly friendly and helpful set they are. We'll be back!

A Good Stay

This is an excellent site and the staff are very helpful and friendly. All facilities are clean and operate very well. Good sized pitches too. The best thing is it's proximity to Cirencester - about 20 mins walk via the adjacent  & very lovely Cirencester Park.  All in all a good little break...

Viva Cirencester

We only picked this site due to unavailabilities elsewhere and what a bonus this turned out to be.  We were pleasantly surprised by how well the site is played out and pitches are well spaced, unfortunately we chose the only pitch that flooded, but the staff were only too pleased to help finding alternative pitches and came to our rescue without too much bother to us.  The facilities very very spacious, clean and modern; providing sufficient showers, cubicles and washing facilities without needing to open the other block.  This is the first site that we have visited where they close the shower block in the afternoon for cleaning; great idea and would love this to be the norm. Located but a 10 minute walk through park land from the town of Cirencester and the town was absolutely lovely providing many shops that you don't see on the normal shopping mall.  The town is full of period buildings and if that float your boats then you will not be disappointed.  There were plenty of places to visit and we will definitely visiting again to see more places of interest. I may seem to be gushing about the site, but it certainly deserves the praise and the staff very probably the friendliest we have met, always very helpful, full of good info and with a kind word. The only downer we could find and that was the building work being carried out at the college next door, but thankfully it did not deter from our break. Viva Cirencester...

First time visiting

On Arival was greeted by friendly caravan club staff, who after showing me the site map & could make up my mind where I wanted to pitch (they had only just opened for the season) so had plenty of choice. Once got settled got the caravan set up including the awning (with the help of a friend). Got 90% everything working - the hot water! & as still new to caravaning had a minor problem but next morning one of the wardens came round & found the problem (I forgot to switch on the Trauma Water Heater!).  After that everything working perfect including TV & WiFi. The toilet / shower block was very clean & plenty of light. On the Tuesday night they had a fish n chip van come round, what a perfect way to end the evening. Ok the weather wasn't brilliant but who cares I had a lovely time. Would recommend this site to anyone & going to book to go back again soon.
