Great Little Hidden Gem

Lovely site hidden away. You would never know you are so close to a main town and a large retail park once you turn down that lane. This was my 1st time this site but most definitely will not be the last. Very well kept site and facilities are spotless. Other caravans' on the site were very friendly. Great central spot for going to Chester/ Cheshire Oaks / North Wales ect.....

ideal family site

We regularly stay here. Its ideal for shopping in Chester, liverpool, manchester etc and ideally located for exploring the North West. Super site with clean facilities. A small play park for the kids. The Hungry Horse pub next door offers 20% off food for CC members.

Visiting family and friends...

Another successful visit to Chester to see our family and friends who live nearby.  Excellent shopping with sainsburys just over the road for all our food supplies.   This is a great site and we have visited four times now.  Well done to all the site staff for keeping it neat, tidy and clean facilities.  We will definitely be returning in the future.

Family 2 week Stay

We recently stayed here for 2 weeks. Primarily to visit family and visit local attractions like Chester Zoo, Chester, Llandudno etc. The site itself is very clean, very tidy and the staff very welcoming. The site shop could be bigger, but the essentials were there. The pitches were a decent size but we personally prefer hedge dividers between pitches. We did feel very open and would prefer a bit more privacy. Our only annoyance were that the mens' toilets/showers were shut for cleaning at 10.15am - reopening at 11.15am!! I am sure, we are not the only ones, who when on holiday would prefer a later start in the morning?? Most sites we have been to in the past close for cleaning in the afternoon when they are less busy? Other than that the site is in a great location for Chester, the Zoo, Cheshire Oaks etc. Again, would be great to be able to pre-book a pitch as we had a choice of 2 pitches and with a long caravan we were very limited to behind a toilet block or at the entrance.

Nice break

Stayed here for 4 nights. Site is in a good location, near to motorway links but is still quiet. Facilities and staff are excellent. The shower block looked new and I loved that it played music. Even though the site was full it did not seem busy. Good stay.

Nice Site

Had not stopped hear for some years found the Wardens very friendly and the site in very good condition no doubt down to their hard work. The Toilet/shower block had been modernised since our last visit and the new showers fantastic. Only down side no fault of anyone on visiting the toilets on the first morning found one toilet flush not working and the next cubicle no paper but no doubt this would have soon been rectified.

Weeks Break

Very clean and well maintained site, the toilet block was the cleanest we have come across on caravan club sites. it is a good site for touring we found the traffic no problem it is only a short ride to the Chester park and ride and Zoo, the Oaks designer shopping center and super market are within walking distance We would stay at this site again. This is a great site for families with plenty of grass and a play park. Found television reception poor and not as stated in the club book as being good all we could get was I.T.V. Wales

4 night stay

Lovely site with exceptional facilities which were spotlessly clean. Great location for exploring the surrounding areas. Nice pub/ restaurant called the Rake within a five minute stroll which was nice, reasonably priced and you get 10% discount of all food with your caravan club card. Although it's in a busy area, it was lovely and peaceful at night . Would stay here again.
