We had a lovely stay at Chester Fairoaks site. Its such a convenient site for excellent motorway connections , close to Chester & Cheshire oaks. Many great places to visit are nearby. We returned again for Halloween & the wardens excelled themselves. They made a lovely event for families by decorating the office & put on a great Halloween tour & performance. Wonderful memories for us all. The club needs inspired wardens like this to maintain your excellent reputation. Thankyou so much.
Ideal location
The site is well kept as the warden team work well together keeping it nice for all visitors just a pity some people and dog owners abuse this.
Ideal location for motorway network, easy trip into Chester and of course the Designer Outlet on the doorstep with lots of places to eat.

Regular haunt
We have visited this site most years for some time and never had a complaint. The wardens are efficient helpful and friendly. The site is typical of the clubs in layout and facilities. it is flat with plenty of good hard standings and decent spacing. There is a little road noise but nothing to bother us. With Chester and a massive outlet centre on the doorstop and good access to the motorway for touring this is as good as it gets.
Surprisingly pleasant in this busy location
We spent a night here towards the end of September, the first time we'd been here. We were surprised to find such a pleasant site so close to the busy motorway network. The pitches are spacious, and the toilet block is spotlessly clean and also huge - amazing it is closed only an hour for cleaning each side when at Brighton one (which is smaller) is completely closed for 2.5 hours. Wardens are very friendly and helpful. The only slight negative is the traffic noise, but that's the tradeoff for the location.
Second Time Around
Excellently situated for Chester Zoo. Park & Ride to Chester (next to the Zoo) 5minutes approx driving time from the site. Buses also from the large shopping mall across the road from the site. Large transport Hub in Chester with buses to various cities, ie, Liverpool, Wrexham, etc. Various eating places a short walk away ie,Harvester, Hungry Horse, Pizza Express etc. Fish & Chip van also on site Monday & Thursday evenings 1700-1900. This was the second time we had been to this site and were not disappointed. The toilet/shower block has been updated since we were last here and the facilities are spacious and spotless. All in all it is a very good site.
Lovely Site
We stayed for two nights, in our motorhome. We were met in reception by the wardens, who were very nice and gave us lots of info. We took our lil dog and there’s a good dog section to let them off the lead and have a run. We had fish and chips from the chip van that comes on site two days a week and there was plenty of chips and a beautiful fish. Although a bit expensive was worth it, we had one each and one would have fed the two of us. The site has great sized pitches our motorhome is 8.5m long and we had plenty of room. The toilet/shower block are exceptionally clean. We did not use the laundry or dishwashing room. Would gladly stay again and will be returning in the future.
A wonderful site
We loved this site. We stayed for 6 nights and would definitely come back. The site is easy to find from the motorway and close to facilities. The wardens were very friendly and extremely helpful. Facilities were spotless, with lots of showers and toilets, toddler bathroom and even Radio 2 playing through the speakers. Fish and chip van arrives twice a week but be prepared to wait. Nice spacious pitches and a very clean site. Lots of service points. We filled every day with activities including a day in Chester, Tatton Park, Delamere forest, Liverpool and Port Sunlight. Near the site are pubs and a shopping centre with plenty of restaurants. Definitely recommend a visit.

Something for everyone
Used the site this year as a stopover and were not disappointed. We were greeted by the wardens by name and made to feel welcome, although a one-night visit. The site was very full ( Spring Bank Holiday ) but everything was clean and tidy, grass cut, facilities fully stocked and very clean.
It's unfortunate that the dog walk is so small,( but kept very clean) as the alternative is to use the road adjacent to the site which initially, has no pavement, so is somewhat dangerous.
With Cheshire Oaks so nearby, together with Chester city, Liverpool and Manchester it makes an ideal site explore the surrounding area.
First time at Chester Fairoaks
The site its self is immaculate with possibly the best toilet block on any site. The staff are exceptional. The site is well laid out and maintained. If it is peace and quiet you are after I would not recommend it. As stated before there is road noise which although is not horrendous is noticeable. There are regular police/ambulance sirens possibly due to the proximity to the motorway and aircraft noise.Depends on where you pitch will determine if you have people walking through your pitch to get to the reception or toilet block.(What do people do with the 20 seconds they have saved?) We spent 8 nights there and met some nice people but it is not our cup of tea.
