Mother's Day treat

We went to Chatsworth as its relatively nearby to us for my mothers day treat . Easily found off the caravan club book directions and rightly described as narrow lane to entrance. Site was compact with one shower block, which depending on where you pitched is either right on your doorstep or miles away. Small play park for kids and an outdoor undercover table tennis table which my two enjoyed although in early spring it was a bit chilly!! The wardens were a friendly bunch which always makes the stay more enjoyable. A Day trip to Bakewell and Buxton were good fun and a run in chats worth park was great. Trying to rejoin the main road back towards Chesterfield was awful it's very busy and we needed to turn right so options to make a safe move were limited, unless you were lucky enough that two drivers allowed you out!!  All in all we enjoyed our stay and would return. Happy Mother's Day to all camping Mums ; )))

Well worth waiting for

Taken us many months to finally get a pitch at Chatsworth and it was worth waiting for.  Just spent four nights there.  We had a great pitch and walked into the park to watch the eclipse.  Spotless facilities and friendly wardens.  We know the area very well as we only live an hour away but so nice to spend a few days there.  The house itself wasn't open but a pleasant walk to the stables to browse the gift shop and have some lunch followed by a leisurely stroll back.  its just a shame too many members know about it as pitches are almost impossible to get!

First Trip Of The Season

We have been to this site on numerous occasions. Excellent location, plenty of local walks & interests. We only live an hours drive from the site, so the the strict rule to leave by 12pm is a disappointment. No chance of a late stay unless you pay for another night. Club uses the long entry road as the reason, but there are numerous passing places, so I don't see it as a problem. We will be returning though....

2nd visit and will be going again.

We stayed on this site last year and again early March 15. Lovely site, tidy and clean, level easy access pitches. Excellent for walkers with access to Chatsworth grounds, and only a short drive to Bakewell, Matlock or Buxton.  Will be going again before the year is over.

Super Site

Great stay, only wish the small garden tractor would wait a while longer in the mornings.

alfies visit

Alfie (8 month old beagle) very much enjoyed his first holiday in a caravan especially as it was at Chatsworth Park, where he had acres of land to roam in. It is a lovely site in a beautiful area with all the usual caravan club amenities. We hope to visit at a warmer time of year.

3rd visit

As always very clean and tidy and great shower block. Our dog loves the chatsworth walks and breakfast at the chatsworth farm shop. The only thing that would really top it off if there was a bar and food on site. I am sure we will return many thanks roger and maureen

Great Stay

Stopped at this great site for 5 nights, we must say it is the best site we have stayed at. The pitches are spacious and well set out , the shower and toilet block the very best we have used , the heating was on 24/7 and they were spotless and clean , showers were great. The site was kept very clean and tidy with the wardens continuously going around emptying bins and generally cleaning. Very peaceful and quiet so good nights sleep had by all. Great for families with dogs , great walks to Chatsworth House and surrounding areas. We will definitely be returning for another stay as soon as we can .
