Disappointing

Wardens were pleasant. Having people moving off site after midnight to catch ferries is really unacceptable, there are other club sites that have ferry pitches that are set so as not to disturb others. My other issue is the fees charged on a site such as this without facilities plus £2.50 per day for internet (ridiculous you can purchase at a daily or weekly fee). After leaving this site we went on to a beautiful cl, imaculately kept with full facilities, satelite box, information folder for each pitch and free internet and at a much more reasonable cost.

Lovely well kept site

A lovely site, in a lovely location with super helpful and friendly wardens. We intended to stay a few nights but extended our stay. I have rated the facilities low as this site has no toilet block or anywhere to wash clothes. The lack of toilet block doesn't bother us but if you are staying for more than a week somewhere to wash a few clothes or some fully services pitches would greatly improve the site. The site itself was clean and well kept. 20/25 minute walk down into Benlech and slightly less to the nearest beach and coast path. Great place for walkers. Fish and chips opposite Bengal Tiger excellent although the food from the Bengal Tiger itself isn't recommended.

Peaceful and lovely site

We stayed here for 2 nights only. Even though there are no toilet/ shower facilities, the site was very busy. We managed to get a great spot (19) and spent  a couple of great days here. The wardens were very friendly and helpful. We walked to a couple of bays, coast line was beautiful and where we went was dog friendly. The Pub at the entrance to the site, served reasonable food and good beer and again  was dog friendly. Would be very happy to come back to this site, though so many other places to see first

Great site

Stayed for 3 nights and even when full seemed to have plenty of room. Handy for Benllech, nice walk down to town. Wardens very friendly and site well kept.

Relaxed and Peaceful !

We left it late to book and the site was full. However the warden rang us the next day (many thanks to you for your kindness) to inform us that a pitch was now available. We arrived the next day, great welcome and a brilliant large pitch was ours. We only intended to stay one night but stayed for 3. Great location for touring Anglesey, good dog walks and a beautiful relaxed and peaceful site. We will definitely return.

First time.

First time to Cue Mawr. The wardens were very pleasant only spoke to them on arrival. The site was clean and tidy. Told to pitch off side rear to peg notest a lot had pitched front nearside to the peg. And the old story my dog doesn't need to be on a lead as they keep coming out of there van shouting there dog. On the hole a very quiet site will be back.

Lucky with the weather!

First visit here and we stayed for a fortnight with our two dogs enjoying the lovely weather. Wardens were very friendly and helpful and site is clean, tidy and quiet. There are no play areas or shower blocks here which helps to keep it peaceful. Please can we have more of this type of site caravan club. There isnt a dog walk here but we did lots of walking on quiet roads from site and the coast path is very near. Probably not much to do if the weather's bad unless you're prepared to  get wet or drive everywhere. Good range of food shops six miles away for stocking up. Bangor and caernafon are quickly reached by car. Holyhead mountain is a bit further but well worth a visit and a climb if you're feeling energetic! Will definitely come back to this site and will try to bring the good weather back with us!

lovely site

We stayed on this site for 3nights with our dog and 4 year old grandson. The site is lovely with really helpful and hardworking wardens. Lots of open spaces and a really nice dog walk. Lots of space between outfits and the site is on several easy access levels. There is a good pub at the end of the road serving freshly cooked food and good beer - they also let in dogs and children. Short walk to a lovely beach with bucket and spade and tea shop. Lots of walks along cliffs into Benllech. There is only one set of wardens on this site and they keep the site immaculate, they are helpful and provide all the back up one might need, including newspapers if ordered the night before. I have given only 4 stars for 'facilities' and 'good for families' because there isn't a toilet block or play area and some people might think these are necessary.

First time seasonal pitch

We have been coming to this site for over 10 years, and it has never disappointed. This year we have decided on a seasonal pitch. Steve and Janet were extremely helpful and welcoming, even before we got there. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks again for all your help.

Easter Weekend away

Nice welcome from Wardens on arrival and very helpful with any queries we had. The site was very well kept, clean and tidy, but with no toilet block I left my scoring at three stars. The weather was generally poor with very strong winds, hail and rain. The brief sunshine we had, we made the most of with a pleasant walk down to the nearest beach and short tours to other beach locations where we enjoyed coastal path walking. Will certainly try and use the site again. Great!
