A lovely site
Beautiful site in a lovely location Staff very helpful Facilities immaculate
Lovely walk downhill into Buxton, but not so good walking back uphill ( quite steep in places)
We took the car down and parked in one of the side roads near to the Park then walked down to the Town. Lovely park and Pavillion
Drove to Tittlesworth Reservoir thinking we could give the dog a good run but unfortunately dogs have to be kept on a lead ALL the time which was a bit disappointing.
The country park next to the site though was ideal with lots of open space for the dog to have a good run
Ladybower Reservoir was worth a visit and also south of Haversage we found a carpark with lots of walks. If you cross the road and walk down over the high rocks you come to a very pretty river lovely for picnics
