Lovely site. Ideal for a short break. Close to town centre. Very clean facilities. Local pub is very welcoming and good food. Only negative is cobbles that you drive over near the entrance. Will definitely pay it another visit in the future.
Late review but need to say
Bit Late as we were there in November last year ,yes it was wet yes it was cold, but the best wardens we have met , pity they are moving next year but we will find them
Early February three nights.
Site was not too busy as it was early February.Although work is going on onsite the noise is not obtrusive and stops around 1700 hrs.Easy bus into Bury and then the Metro to Manchester Arndale shopping centre for a day out. This is our second visit and won,t be the last.
Location
Very clean facilities, great location for walking and good food at the local pub, will return soon, the dogs loved it
Excellent location
What a wonderful site, the toilet block facilities are to a high standard and very warm in winter. The wardens were exceptionally friendly and helpful and we would definitely return again.
great site with great surroundings.
this was my second time at this site and once again i cant fault the site or the staff. the site is very clean and very peaceful and has a very nice pub near the entrance which serves good food and a good selection of drinks. outside of the site there is nice walks along the river and occasionally you will see people on canoe training courses which was good to watch for a short while. there isnt much in the way for kids on site but a few things to do just outside the site and the vintage trains that pass just outside the boundaries of the site are a great treat, safe to say we will be back again,
Lovely site
First time at this site, came during January . Surprised by how busy it was. Toilets and shower facilities exceptionally clean and lovely and warm as you enter the shower block. Lots to do around. Anyone who likes curries recommend Jewel in the crown, will come again .

First timers to site
This was our first time at a Caravan Club site we chose Burrs Park as it was local. We found it spotless, well maintained, quiet, even though works were being done on site. The wardens were friendly and helpful. we enjoyed the steam trains going past and we had an excellent view as we had parked close to the rail line! Even though it rained it didn't spoil our weekend. The local pub was absolutely wonderful. A proper local pub, food was fantastic, not overpriced. Staff were welcoming. We had no hesitation in booking again for another weekend in March.
Wet break.
Clean, quiet, well laid out site with good toilet facilities. Friendly staff. Being in a campervan and due to heavy persistent rain we were very limited as to what we could do and where we could go.

Winter stay
Another lovely stay. Must thank Fiona and Ray for a well run site even providing entertainment for us from a caravan club film crew. We have already booked again for later.
