Friendly and welcoming site
This is the third time that we have stayed at this site and every time the wardens have been so friendly. There has never been anything that they couldn’t accommodate.

Beautiful site . Amazing friendly helpful wardens
This site is in a beautiful setting . Supermarkets within a couple of miles . Lovely walks to burford and Carterton.
The wardens are amazing so helpful and happy friendly people .
Toilet block and all areas kept immaculate.
Will definitely return .
Fabulous site
First visit to this site, stayed for 6 nights. Friendly and welcoming wardens, spotless facilities, service points easy to find and regularly cleaned/emptied of rubbish. Two dog walks on site, one at the entrance adjoining the car park/road so dogs to be kept on lead but still a good area for a sniff and business stop!, the other at the far side of the site which is fully enclosed and dogs can be off lead - lovely area which is discretely hidden behind hedging with a lovely stick library to borrow from! When we visited the grass areas were not being used so the site felt really quiet with lots of space to enjoy. Visiting food vans throughout the week, Vinnie's Mac n Cheese was delicious and would thoroughly recommend. For pub grub head to The Riverside Inn in Lechlade, by the side of the Thames, lovely location, superb food and very dog friendly. 10 minute walk from site office, through park entrance gates and up hill into Cotswold Wildlife Park - discounted tickets from site being accepted, so no need to advance book - see how many cars you pass in the queue while you walk! 10 minute drive into Burford where there is unlimited free parking, Stow-on-the-Wold a must to visit too, lovely village with free parking, Thursday market and gorgeous cafes. Would thoroughly recommend this site.
Friendly staff and well ordered site
Just stayed one night. Very helpful and friendly staff and well laid out site. Very handy location for the Cotswolds and well stocked shop. The pizza van was excellent!
Lovely site, great staff
Just back from a 7 night stay with a 10 year old in tow. Very, very impressed with the wardens - friendly, helpful, and absolutely fabulous with kids, going that extra mile to make them all feel special.
The site is well-maintained and the facilities spotless.
The area is great for families - I would highly recommend a visit to the wildlife park across the road (and the discount for club members is an additional bonus).
The only negative is the visiting fish and chip van - awful! Greasy, cold and undercooked.
We'll definitely be going back in the furture.

Highly Improved
Just enjoyed 6 brilliant days on a service pitch. We were anxious as when we last saw the site 2 years ago it was rough for a CAMC site, with long grass and the facilities not that clean. However it is obvious that the current management team have worked hard and brought the site up to an excellent standard, neatly tended and beautifully clean. Burford is lovely, on a weekday in March but a bit too crowded at the WE. Huffkins tea shop half way down the main street on the left highly recommended. We used our bicycles a lot,enjoying the quiet lanes with many scenic alternative routes to Burford and Lechlade. The Barringtons and Eastleach villages lovely. Will be back soon.
Disappointed
Just returned back from a one night stay. We were greeted by a lady who gave us an information pack and a grumpy man. [Perhaps we checked in at a bad time]The location of this site was an issue to us. Agreed there is a wildlife park cross the road, but the location to Burford if you wanted an evening meal etc is 2.7 miles away, The busy road itself is 60-70mph speed limit and there is no path or lighting. There is no bus route and will cost you £12 each way. The site itself is clean and well kept. You do have to hunt for a water tap. Unfortunately we will not be returning

One of the best
Another great stay at this charming site perfectly placed to visit so many attractions in the Cotswolds the closest being the Cotswold Wildlife park opposite the site entrance.
We arrived on the reopening day of the site and warmly greated by the fantastic wardens, nothing is too much trouble and they the keep the place spotless.
Lovely flat serviced pitch, excellent Wi-Fi and used the TV hook up and had perfect reception.
The facilities block was exceptional and usually empty. The site was only half full this early in the season and very peaceful apart from quite a few military aircraft, I assume transporting supplies to Ukraine.
Immaculate site
First visit!
we only live about 40 miles away and after having new tyres and a service on our caravan we wanted a nearby site for a couple of days, to check all was well
We arrived at 12 and was greeted by a friendly warden, as the site was not very busy we were told we could choose any pitch. The pitches were lovely and spacious,the showers and amenities were immaculate and the location of this site is fantastic for visiting the cotswolds- Burford, Bourton on the water and many more….
The Christmas decorations in Burford high st were fantastic on all the historic honey coloured buildings.
The Nearby Garden centre in Burford is very upmarket ! (never seen a garden centre with a pianist playing Christmas songs before ) but as previously written not dog friendly.

Another great visit to this well located club site
This is the 2nd time we have visited this site as we enjoyed it so much the first time. Very warm welcome on arrival from helpful and polite site wardens. Location is great for Cotswolds wildlife park with discount from club reception. Nice clean site, good pitches with plenty of choice. Burford town is a nice little town, although on a busy road, with a free carpark at the bottom, that can accommodate motorhomes, around 6 of them at anyone time. Get there early though, especially if there is a market on. Good choice of shops, bars and restaurants and some nice walks too. The club site is ideally located to explore most of the Cotswolds easily. My only complaint, which is not any fault or under the control of CAMC is that Burford Garden Centre is not dog friendly, which in this day and age is crazy, we took our money and spent it elsewhere, their loss!
