We have regularly visited this site many times over the past few years and as usual when we visited in May this year it was as nice as ever with the toilet block being spotless and the grassed areas well kept.
One small query is why, while we were there, have they suddenly imposed no parking in front of the toilet block
as many campers stop here on the way out to dispose of their recycling and use toilets before sometimes a long journey home. It seemed to create more problems as people were parking wherever they could stop, sometimes half on occupied pitches.
Lovely site, lovely people, great location
This site has it all, excellent family facilities, great visitor attractions, and ran by lovely lovely people. We are still novices with our van and needed a bit of assistance on the first night but never felt patronised. The wildlife park opposite was a great day out and it was so much fun hearing lions roar as we got the kids to bed! There is so much to do in the locality we were spoilt for choice as to what to do.
The site itself is well laid out with plenty of room around each pitch so you don't feel claustrophobic.
The provision for children is great with immaculate washrooms and a great play area.
We will definitely be back.
Great Site
Just returned from a 4 day stay on this site and I have to say it's one of the best yet!!! Stayed on other C/C sites and all are good but this one stands out, site staff 10/10, location 10/10. We had spent 4 days at another site a so called 5 star site(twice the price), they should visit this one in order to see what a 5 star site looks like. All the facilities were spotless and all pitches of a great size, we will be here again and again. Well done to all involved.

Clean beautiful site
Visited for four nights whilst my wife had a meeting in Oxford. Usual caravan club standards, clean and well kept, friendly welcome etc. Could do with a bigger dog walk or at least just cut a narrower path through the areas to give the dogs somewhere to explore? 20 miles to Oxford and Burford 2 miles away is stunning. Bibury is a tourist hotspot but beautiful Westwell and Hollwell are lovely small hamlets nearby the site and there are a couple of byways including the d'arcy dalton way. Not bad for dog walking but quite a lot of sheep so you'd need to have the dogs under close control. Overall a good cc site which I'd u again.
Lovely one night stay 3/6/2016
Only stayed here for the one night we were heading to the Black Horse site at Dover before going to France for 2 weeks and as we were both off we decided to have a stay over on the way to break up the journey - pleased we did M25 nightmare. Anyway back to the site: it was lovely both ladies on reception were very nice and helpful. The site was spotless and toilets were lovely and clean. We walked to the pub down the road, shame it isn't really walkable due to location and busy little lane leading to it. Food there was lovely and they squeezed us in even though they were very busy. Would certainly stop here again love the area although didn't see much of it in this occasion.

Lovely site
Stayed on the site in June, found site upto the clubs high standards. As motorhomers we found it difficult to find a safe way into the lovely town of Burford, it was a 10ml round trip on foot to effectively do what is 4ml via main road. Also to add to this there is no bus service.

What A Lovely CampSite
We also had 10 nights at Buford in the first 2 weeks of June 2016 for our second visit to Burford. The site was easy to find, well signposted. Staff/Wardens were extremely helpful and were always on top of cleaning and site maintenance throughout our stay. Toilet/Shower facilities were excellent. There were two sets of both male and female toilet/shower facilities in the centrally located block. So whilst one was closed for cleaning, the other was always available.
Burford is a delightful town with plenty of history, and worth a visit even just for shopping. However we found that nearby Carterton was ideal for shopping (Asda & Aldi). the Cotswold Wild Life Park is also worth visiting, & there are many National Trust sites nearby.
Many thanks to the Camp Site staff who made our stay most enjoyable Alan & Dee

Amazing Stay
We recently had a short 3 night stay at Burford Caravan Park and we had a wonderful time. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the site was clean and well maintained and it had a lovely feel.
We visited the Wildlife Park which is a short walk and we managed to hear the monkey's and lion's roar as the sunset!
The next day we visited Crocodile world and Fairytale land (25 mins away) and they both were lovely.
Fully recommend this site for young families and we cannot wait to return!
A site you will want to return to again and again.
We had 10 nights at Buford in the first 2 weeks of June 2016 for our first (of many) visits to the Cotswolds.
The site was easy to find, well signposted on the final approach and all routes in and out are on good 'A' roads, so no issues no matter what size of outfit or MH you are using.
Staff/Wardens were very helpful and were always on top of cleaning and site maintenance throughout our stay.
Toilet/Shower facilities were excellent, being well heated, ventilated, clean, maintained etc. As an added bonus there were two sets of both mail and email toilet/shower facilities in the centrally located block. So whilst one was closed for cleaning, the other was always available.
The dog run was fairly small but more than adequate with close cut grass, no weeds or thistles to catch on the dogs coat and most important for those with small breeds, it was 99% secure, with chicken wire around the lower edge of the outer fencing. The only very minor issue that could do with addressing is the entrance gate to the dog walk as small breeds can and did get out of the dog run by jumping between the lower rungs of the gate. An easy fix with 2 more rungs and already highlighted to the wardens.
The layout of the site is excellent, with the whole site broken up into smaller groupings of pitches separated by trees and bushes. Each and every pitch is of a generous size with extra grass to the rear of the pitches you never felt hemmed in or over looked by your neighbours.
The site is well located for the beautiful dog friendly village of Buford and even Oxford and Cirencester are less than 30 minutes drive away. RAF Brize Norton is close bye and whilst this is an active airbase, the military aircraft arrivals and departures were infrequent and more of an interest than an annoyance.
Excellent
Burford is a well maintained beautifully clean site with an excellent park and playground for children. The staff are very friendly hand helpful. The only down side for us was all the walks involved lots of roads. It is possible to walk into Burford, its a lovely walk but its 4 miles each way. We had a lovely weeks stay and will return when we are in that part of the cotswolds.
