Weekend with friends

Bunree has a fantastic location with views to Ardnamurchan peninsula.  Wardens are very friendly and helpful. Pitches have great views and lots of places to visit. Good walks in Inchree Forest across the road. Facilities always kept clean.

My favourite club site

We have visited this site on 2 separate occasions. Both times we have arrived to find friendly, welcoming wardens and clean facilities. There is a fab drying room here and good laundry facilities. There is also a lovely children's play area. The site sits right at the side of the loch, and all pitches have lovely views. The site is far enough from the road to give lots of peace and quiet. A short walk up the lane takes you into the forest area the other side of the main road where you can see red squirrels, and walk or cycle to brilliant view points. A very short drive to the Corran ferry gives access to Ardnamurchan, where you can see baby seals in the spring, visit the remote Castle Tioram and carry on to Arisaig and Malaig. Fort William is about 10 miles away, but an easy drive. Glen Coe visitor centre also close by. This is my favourite site so far.

Stunning Location

Enjoyed six nights on this lovely site. Fantastic location looking over the loch and the mountains. Site spotless and very welcoming. We were fortunate to have good weather too. Great base for some great walks. I am sure we will soon be back.

Lovely Site and Location

First ever visit to this site which we used for a 4 night long weekend break. No problem getting to the site and access is was fine. The site is situated right on the waters edge but if your using an awning I would suggest pitching further back from the water due to the winds that sometimes blow right up the Loch and straight onto the caravan site. The site itself is level and very tidy and clean and setting up was easy enough, plenty of water and refuse areas about the site and also chemical disposal areas rather than just the one at the main shower/toilet block area. Toilets and shower block was up to standard and was kept warm and clean by the staff. Plenty of showers and never had to wait. We used the site as a base for touring the local area and had great time visiting surrounding areas. The weather isn't always good but we were fortunate and the only rain we saw was on our arrival day with sunshine to follow. I would recommend this site to anyone and it would suit those more energetic among us as well as those who only want to put their feet up and relax. A short drive in either direction on leaving the site gets you to either Fort William or Kinlochleven with plenty of places to visit further afield as well. Definitely will be back.

2nd visit

We stayed here a few years ago with our caravan and loved it so much that we booked a 6 night stay this month with our Motor Home. Once again the views never fail to amaze you and the piece and quiet are something to be remembered. As before the wardens are great and very helpful, sights to visit are never ending, there is always something to be found. Just to sit and watch the Loch with the occasional boat making its way up or down is so relaxing makes you wish you could stay forever. Brilliant, and we shall be back  !!!!!

Jewel of The West

Stayed here for two nights last week, even in the rain it was brilliant. Ten out of Ten for Fort William for the parking facilities for Motorhomes £2 for all day is fantastic value I wish the rest of the country would follow suit instead of the greedy councils with no space to park a bike and horrendous charges. One thing though if you are visiting The Glenfinnan visitor centre give the café a miss, horrible coffee, over priced, 1950's décor tin shed, come on National trust you can do better than this, it really gives a bad impression to the International visitors. Why not walk to the ferry and have Lunch at the Hotel on the other side a great experience. Looking forward to my next visit.

Stunning

This site is in an awesome position next to Loch Linnhe offering stunning views and jaw dropping sunsets over the mountains. Staff were perfect. Facilities were spot on, never had to queue for a loo or shower. Showers were always spotlessly clean and hot. Thoroughly recommend cable car up Ben Nevis and boat trip on Loch Linnhe by Crannog Cruises from Fort William. We paid £25 each for an hour and a half cruise plus a 3 course lunchtime menu.

Perfect location, could sit and look at the loch all day and in all weathers, the surrounding scenery is wonderful. The site management team were very friendly and efficient and all facilities were spotless. Good site from which to visit the areas many attractions.

Perfection

Spent just one night here but could live there. The views are amazing both in sunshine & cloud. Excellent facilities & large hard standing plots with easy access to electric. Would definitely use the site again & recommend it.
