The location makes this site, have been several times to bunree and would probably visit again because of the location , we were lucky enough to have a loch side pitch away from the dog walk ( or so we thought!) I feel the club needs to take at look at the comment book and look into the amount of complaints regarding people not only not using the dog walk but people allowing there dogs to foul anywhere especially the grass front along the loch side then thinking because it's picked up it makes it ok, very few people seem to be able to read the dog walking area signs , complaints were made to the wardens which were pointless , and was told we should tell the culprits ourselves this was unacceptable which I personally thought wasn't our place to do so, so sat in our van watching the sun set or eating our meals was on a daily basis spoilt by also seeing every make of dog foul in front of our caravan.
Please caravan club look into this because I strongly feel this situation is bad enough to really spoil what has to be one of the most stunning locations the club has to offer .Â
Great stay
Great 5days stay last visited 10 years ago, enjoyed it then and now, thanks to the wardens, as they went out of there way to locate my lost keys, that I collected 4days later well pleased with the site and wardens.
Great site in great location
We arrived at short notice, having tried to phone up beforehand. Â The reception was very friendly and helpful and managed to squeeze us in on the last pitch as they had had a no show. Â Although it was up in the shade we were grateful for the pitch and found the site to be in a great location with very clean and welcome shower blocks. Â There is a dog walk on the beach at the front, although not great as very pebbly and small but nevertheless very handy. Â The views overlooking the loch are stunning and it is placed in a great location for visiting Fort William and the surrounding areas.
Not a great welcome
2015 is the first year we have been members of this club. We called in without booking. The reception received was cool. Turning up without booking is obviously frowned upon. We did offer to leave but were told "we may be able to fit you in somewhere" as if that would be an inconvenience. The facilities were as expected, the views spectacular. Noise from 6 a.m. was intrusive, machinery users and dog walkers being the main culprits.
Perfect 5 days at Bunree
This site is well worth the drive from Yorkshire. My two teenage granddaughters really liked the views on this site, heads up from phones is a plus. Will be returning to this beautiful clean place

Great views of the sea.
Just back from a tour of the west Highlands. Enjoyed a lovely one night stop at this site. Book ahead as it is very popular. Great coastal location and good pitches all around this large site. Good facilities as you would expect from a Caravan Club site. We enjoyed walking the dog along the sea shore and sitting looking out at the loch view. Some midges, so beware when the breeze drops in the evening. We plan coming back at a quieter time to get a loch side pitch, although our pitch further back was a good one with trees and grass.
Simply superb!
The views say it all! This site is superb. Peaceful, clean, great location for Fort William and Glencoe. Four seasons pub and restaurant over the road serves lovely food. We had an excellent time at bunree.
The perfect location for a highland caravaning break
We had the pleasure of staying at Bunree Caravan Park last week. The location provides spectacular views and a perfect base to explore the surrounding scenery either by well signposted walks or driving to Glencoe or Fort William. The facilities at the site were first class and the staff could not be more helpful - for caravan enthusiasts this is Scotland at its best. We will certainly be back.
And chill...
We booked in for 9 nights in August , and were incredibly lucky to get a pitch facing the loch. The views are simply stunning and you start to relax immediately. The area around has lots to interest the whole family, the walk across from the site is lovely, and the 4 seasons pub serves welcome refreshment and reasonably priced, tasty food.
The site was clean with park facilities for children. The local cow herd welcomed us and payed the odd visit to the entrance to the park. Look forward to our return !
Glorious
We have visited this site many times, winter and summer and it never fails. Amazing location. And as ever thanks to wonderful staff for running a great site with warmth, humour and generosity.
