first time caravener

as this was my first touring caravan holiday i was'nt sure what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised. The site was very clean with stunning views which ever way you looked, the staff were very friendly and made you very welcome. The only downside we found was that the dog walk was inadequate. We found it to be an excellence base for nevis and the surrounding areas, good food was easy to find in local pubs and restaurants and we were always made welcome. We will certainly return and would recommend this site.

What a view

Ideal site to be based in Lochaber with lots to do and see close-by. Fort William only 15minutes away. The location of the site is very good allowing everyone space to enjoy the views and relax. Have a long weekend and there was no people noise. The weather, as always a lottery in Scotland was very wet and very, very windy over 2 nights. Will probably point the caravan facing straight down the loch next time as it seems to funnel the wind. Quite uncomfortable at times during the nights. Would recommend this site if looking for a highland base. Facilities very good and staff very helpful

Picturesque indeed

As previous reviewers have said this is a beautiful peaceful site with fabulous views. We stayed here for just one night as we were touring, and found the facilities were very good and the wardens friendly. The pub at the holiday village across the the road is very pleasant and we had a lovely meal there, we were glad that we had booked because it was a very busy Saturday night. My only criticism would be that the dog walking area is quite small. Definitely a site to visit.

Picturesque

Lovely surroundings and very quite. Ideal to visit Ben Nevis but not much else to do as we went in April.

Fantastic Location

We have recently returned from yet another stay on this wonderfully located site. I have read many of the reviewers comments and endorse the many plaudits given. One member was unhappy about the price hikes on holiday periods. Although I understand the Clubs business reasoning for this I find myself not agreeing with the level of increases levied. Far too steep in my opinion. Our site was well placed for viewing Loch Linnhe but we will choose an non awning site next time and hope we get there in time to get loch side. We will definitely return.

simply stunning

having been to many club sites over many years I cant believe its taken so long to find this one. the site is laid out such that every pitch has a stunning view of the Loch and mountains - and what a view to wake up to. simply breath taking. staff were very helpful and friendly. a credit to the club.. we will visit again for sure this gets 10 out of 10 in every area.. if your thinking of going to the site, do so, you wont be dissapointed

Not up to standard

Stayed on this site again during this years Easter holidays. Pitch prices were hiked up for the holidays targeting the average family, giving not good value for money compared with other non-caravan club sites in-and around the same area. Prices immediately dropped significantly after the school holidays.....poor show caravan club. Facilities are dated especially the showers. Cleanliness was poor during our weeks stay, even though the site was not that busy. If you are not a dog lover, then stay clear of this site. Dogs were allowed off their leads in and around the pitches, and not in keeping with the site rules, and allocated dog walking areas. Dog owners were not challenged over this. Had to remove dog faeces from our pitch before we could put up our awning. Witnessed dogs cocking their legs on the power supply pillars, blue and white pitch markers, and fouling on the grass area around the pitches where both adults and children were walking and playing....Gross

Excellent site

Stayed on this site again and as usual all was as expected.  Great views and in a perfect location for near by attractions. Would always recommend this site and we will stay again. Please note if you want to stay lochs idea you need to book 'none awning' and hope there is a spare pitch, not always available so arrive as near to 12 noon as possible. A great asset to the club.

Best site in the network

We make a point of coming here once a year. No matter what the weather the views are just amazing. This year we were greeted by one of the nicest and friendliest wardens ever, and we have been members of the club for 15 years, her name is Anoro. The only reason I don't give this full marks all round is just that the water pressure in the showers isn't great but everything else more than makes up for that. There are lots of great walks from the site and we had a lovely meal at the Four Seasons hotel which is only about a 10 minute stroll from the site.
