Fantastic little site

Stayed at Brora for only one night as part of our world tour of Scotland.  What a great little site with a good friendly welcome....a lolly pop was even hand delivered to my four year old son , while he was still sitting in the car, by the warden. Nice touch. Very easy stroll to the fantastic beach and lovely bay. Very clean site and a pleasure to see grass instead of constant hard standings.  Would recommend this site and will definitely return for a longer stay. A great base for touring the north of Scotland.

Lovely little site

Lovely little site with great views and a short stroll to the beach. Well located for visiting the area. Shower block could do with a bit of updating but it was always warm and clean.

Tranquility

We spent five nights at this site in July. Separated from the coast by dunes and a golf links making it a nature paradise with seals, otters and a wide variety of birds nearby.  A walk through the Golf Course takes you on the scenic route to the village of Brora. And the clubhouse has an excellent menu and good Wi-Fi.   While here we visited Lairg where we saw wild goats on the hillside, Golspie and Dunrobin Castle. The only downside to this excellent site with efficient hard working wardens, was the number of dogs, and dogs per outfit. One couple had eight dogs which were allowed to run off the lead. One of these dogs bit another member causing significant injury. Maybe it is now time for the Club to limit the number of dogs per outfit. The Club owes its members a duty of care, and it could be argued that by failing to control the dogs on site, the Club fails in this duty. But this did not completely spoil this site for us, and we will be back.

Site four in Scotland - keeps getting better

From Culloden we travelled to Brora and arrived in the rain which kept up for most of our stay. You will put up with the weather on this superb site. A short walk across the golf course and the sandy beach awaits with all of its wildlife. Walk along the beach to Brora and enjoy the peace and quiet. The site is just so relaxing and laid back which typifies the area. Site facilities excellent. A return visit beckons.

Brora by the beach.

Stayed at this site on a Highland tour and made a stopover on the way south. Very helpful wardens, very good facilities and a short walk across the golf course to a lovely quiet beach.  We visited in April and the site was quiet, I suspect that it is very popular and I suggest that you book in advance. The entry road is a single track road with a tight bridge crossing. Our campervan was easy to get there and out again wider vans might have some difficulties.

Wonderful views

Great little site once you've found it - ignore sat nav and follow website/book directions!  Good size pitches and facilities and then there's the walks.  Through the golf course and onto the beach with its amazing colours. Beautiful
