Back here again for a couple of nights. Site and wardens still top of charts. The dogs enjoy the beach, just a couple of minutes across the golf course. Weather was sunny so able to do lots of walking with dogs.
Will be back.
Nice site.
Pulled in here as a stoppover last week and was pleasently surprised by the quality and neatness of the site. The wardens were very friendly and helpful in all aspects. The location was great, we will call in again and stay longer next time.

Peace perfect
We stayed here on Monday 21ST March very friendly wardens who gave us some great information for our journey further north as we were doing the Scotland 500. The site has a great unspoilt beach just a stones throw away which you can walk in to Brora from. I foolishly followed my Tom Tom which did get me to the site but if I had stayed on the main road for a bit longer it would have taken me to the direct road to the site.
A little gem
We stayed at this site both going and returning from Orkney in the 'summer' of 2014. The warden was extremely friendly and helpful, all facilities were well kept and the position of the site was beautiful. Our dogs loved the beach and first thing in the morning (it must have been the one sunny morning of our holiday) we were enchanted to see the oyster catchers 'dibbing' for worms. The only thing is the access. Our motorhome is 2.3 me wide and it was a tight fit over the entrance bridge, but well worth it.
A Little Piece of Heaven
Just simply idyllic. Not for those wanting noise or anything other than beautiful beach walks and peace and quiet. We normally try to have three or four weeks per year at Brora with our Border Collies and just wish it was open all year. To contradict the previous review "Tranquility" I must say we were on site at the time of the "eight dog incident" and at no time saw these dogs off leash. The wardens simply would not have permitted this.I would stress that the number of dogs is not the problem (we have four and I challenge anyone to complain about any form of nuisnace or abhorrent behaviour from them). One unruly dog (as I have seen all too often) can cause more annoyance. As usual...it is the "owner" at fault. If dogs were not allowed at sites then I think the club would be out of business in no time. I do agree though (as with all responsible owners) that the louts who do not clean up after their dogs should be banned from club sites. Bins are provided and there is no excuse. Can't believe some idiots think it is the wardens' job to clear up their dog's mess. I would even encourage CCTV on the dog walks on site. Anyway, enough ranting. Brora is just the most beautiful little site, well run and very friendly wardens and locals. The beach is usually very quiet and a stone's throw from the site. Not an amusement arcade in sight! just don't tell too many people.
It closes
We found it on our tour of Scotland and were sad to be told it would be closing for the winter in a couple of days the beach and surrounding area are really worth exploring, the wardens were really friendly and the site very clean and tidy wish we could have stayed longer

Sunshine in September
We love Brora and with the unusual sunny weather it was even better. The only drawback is that it closes too early. We had to leave the site because it was closing just as the weather was getting really sunny.Mick & Sue lovely wardens and very helpful. One of the best sites in the country for us.
