First Class Site

We arrived at Brora on the last part of our Scottish tour. The site itself was beautiful. Well maintained for all facilities and the little on site shop helped to maintain the little bits needed for our evening meal.  The beach was close by across the local golf course and was a popular place to walk their dogs. A lovely little site that is well worth the visit. Every morning of our Scotland trip, new woke to the song of the cuckoo. Brora was no exception. The staff were both friendly and helpful and very welcoming on our arrival with no booking made. We will visit again, next time we are up that way.

Favourite Site

We'd always wanted to visit Brora and were so pleased we took the trouble on this trip. The beach was totally spectacular and there was only ever at the most 2 other people ever walking at the same time. The Arctic Terns were also there en mass, nesting and soaring and we got some great photos. Our young dog just loved the walks and for our old ones the dog walk on site was kept immaculate. The site is very well kept and lovely and quiet and I wish that it was closer to home as I'd love to visit more often.

Lovely location

We stayed here for 4 nights in early May on our Scottish tour. This was our first time in this part of Scotland. The site is well maintained and the wardens were both helpful and friendly. The beach is second to none, and was a lovely place to be. Brora is also a nice place to explore. We can recommend the self guided town walk, and a visit to the heritage centre. The town has a lot of fascinating history. There are also plenty of opportunities for both walking and cycling (on safe roads). The cycle ride up to and then along Loch Brora is well worth doing. Will definitely visit this site again.

Lovely beach

Stayed here two nights on our tour of Scotland. As our previous visit had a lovely walk along sandy beach at back of site all the way into Brora. Co-op in Brora for vital supplies. Train station in Brora & we took a trip by train up the coast to Wick. Fabulous scenery on way although Wick not that exciting.

What a beach

This is our second visit here we visited last May 2015. The wardens are friendly and helpful. The beach is fantastic this time of year it is like having your own private beach you only see one or two people if your lucky, a lovely walk into Brora where the locals are pleasant and friendly. Will definitely return.

Great beachside site

We stayed for two nights and found the site ideal for complete relaxation. Close to fantastic beach with coastal walks in either direction. Good access and good quality roads in the area make it a good base for seeing the north est coast areas.

East coast gem

Site was very pretty, approached over a narrow bridge. Well laid out and very spacious pitches. A walk across the golf course and turning left, you follow a path between the golf course and sea, until u reach the club house. Following the road you came firstly to a Premier shop, then further into town a Co-op. Lovely little village and a stroll back along the endless beach, was very relaxing. The artic terns were nesting in the dunes, so dogs need to be kept under control. Ours were too busy running in the sea to even notice. A dog walking are is fenced off,  between the site and golf course and very well manicured by the warden. Usual well kept CC facilities and friendly wardens. A definite site to visit

Beautiful beach

We stayed for 2 nights on our way north - what a gorgeous beach - shame it was freezing cold! Facilities were clean and warm.  The walk into Brora is nice, along the edge of the golf course, about 45 minutes each way.  Decent size Co-op in town and a nice wool/textile shop.
