Wonderful Site

We have stayed at this site several times in the 4 years we have owned our caravan, this is our second review of Broadway. What can I say? You can see why Broadway remains as one of the most popular CC sites and why booking a weekend well in advance is the best way forward! The Wardens were very friendly and approachable despite it being very busy in the office as we arrived at 5pm. The site was very busy, but we were given clear instructions and help on where there were a couple of pitches side by side or opposite each other as we were travelling with family. Pitches as always spacious and clean. This was our first visit with our new puppy who was very well behaved but it never ceases to amaze us how friendly people are with dogs ... my parents commented upon this too. It enhanced our stay and Dusty was very happy to see the other dogs walking past our pitch! We had fish and chips on Saturday in Russell's Fish and Chips and it was the nicest we've ever had! Highly recommended. Very clean facilities on the site and quiet at night. We saw ducks, rabbits, magpies, pigeons and a very tame robin! As we came to leave Sunday my parents motorhome wouldn't start - the Wardens were very helpful and understanding (Dad's disabled) and luckily they were on their way 90 minutes after first calling the RAC. Love this site and can't wait to go back again.

What a lovely site

We stayed on site for three nights and enjoyed every moment. It's location is great, with a petrol station/shop by the entrance. How convenient is that? The walk into Broadway village is all on flat terrain and what a gem of a place - very picturesque. Lovely eateries and shops to visit, together with lovely walks to show off the lovely countryside. With regards the site, it again is a gem. Situated on two levels, we occupied the lower and found it to be well spaced out and plenty of room between pitches. The facilities were good and very clean. Will certainly stay there again as the staff were excellent and site has so much to offer.

Peaceful & Friendly

We (myself & 17 year old daughter) stopped here for one night only on route from a mammoth journey between Edinburgh and Bristol (University Open Days!) so I can only comment on the site itself. It was lovely and quiet, noticeable to us as we had spent the last two nights closer to road, rail & airports. The area seemed idyllic and I believe there were plenty of walks accessible direct from the site. Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival, we had to leave early so didn't see anyone on check out but this was no problem to them. Other club members very friendly, chatty & helpful too. There is a petrol station just across the road with a small shop for early morning papers etc. My only observation was that the toilet block is beginning to become a little tired and it wasn't as clean as the one we had just come from in Edinburgh. I would definitely visit again for a proper stay. There was another chap and his wife who had been there 10 days already and were staying for a fortnight so it can't be bad!!

Weekend away

We have visited Broadway many times, initially with children and now with a dog. It's well located and laid out. The pitches are of a consistent standard. The only drawback being that the trees on the top area deposit sticky material on the van which needs washing off. It's a short walk to the village and there are a lot of attractions within easy reach. Even though it's often fully booked it still feels quite pleasant.

Beautiful Cotswold Campsite

Broadway is a beautiful, well kept, large campsite just a short walk away from the lovely village of the same name. Mainly hard standing pitches in various sections. Two facilities blocks, one being larger and more modern but both being spotless. Plenty of water points and bins, including recycling, around the site. Good shop within reception and great information room too. Excellent wardens always happy to help. Broadway village is a lovely place with lots of shops to mooch around and lovely places to eat and drink. The bus to Evesham runs from right outside the site but isn't that regular (3 times a day?) and is £4.70 per adult return. The steam railway is currently being extended to Broadway and is due to open in 2018, which I'm sure will make this very popular site even more popular!

Broadway review

Recently stayed at Broadway, lovely clean site, we stated at the top area, next to the second toilet facilities, the way the site incorporated the train history from the area was really good, the floor made with the railway sleepers & the old caravan tastefully resorted & on display, were really great. Not that we used it but they also have an indoor area within this block for children to play, great touch if its wet. Although it says 0.5 miles to town centre, felt more like a mile. Site staff extremely helpful, we had an issue with our new awning, they helped us sort it out & even let us borrow their large ladders.

Friendly welcome on arrival

This was our first visit to Broadway and we were welcomed by a lovely friendly lady who was very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. We were on pitch 79 which at times was noisy from the main road traffic. Also it was like being at cruft's with the amount of dogs, but on the whole the majority of dogs were not barking every time someone walked past. The shower blocks are very well maintained and clean. All staff on duty were friendly when ever they see members during the day. In the village we visited the Crown and Trumpet for food which was very reasonable. We will definitely return to this lovely site. Would certainly recommend to other members.

Lovely Location

We had a very warm welcome from the wardens upon arrival, booked in and pitched up. There is a little bit of road noise during the day and a little at night but this will not stop me from visiting this site again. Set in the Cotswolds what more could you wish for. Cracking site for a cracking holiday.

Excellent Touring Location

Despite being flooded one night [albeit in an apocalyptic thunderstorm!] & waking up to snow, we had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. We loved the birdlife. Broadway itself is extremely picturesque, but not especially useful for day to day shopping. However, with an imaginative village shop in the petrol station opposite, a stunning farm shop / café [The Wayside] less than two miles towards Evesham and M&S, Tesco & Boots together just outside Evesham, you will lack for nothing. For book lovers, Sedgebarrow books [second hand] and an independent new bookshop in Pershore are essential visits. For lovers of Arts & Crafts, old Cotswold Manor Houses and the downright heroically eccentric, do not miss Snowshill - you will probably want to go twice!. All Caravan Club essentials are up to scratch, with an excellent team of wardens. Twice weekly fish & chips of a truly award-winning standard and a visiting wood fired pizza oven ensure that catering is kept simple.
