Excellent site. Clean, organised and extremely well maintained. Friendly wardens that could not be more helpful. Close to lots of things to do and the town/village of Broadway is an absolute delight. Lots of walks but if you do the Broadway Tower circular walk be prepared ...... It's a long way back and all up hill.
Lovely site, however on arrival when I explained I was a sole traveller and asked if there was any chance a member of staff could help me to put the awning in the rail as this was the only part I could not do on my own (I can put up the rest on my own), I was told in no uncertain terms that it was a busy day and everyone was busy, but if I really couldn't manage it, to go back and ask again. Unhelpful to say the least. The site is a nice size in a good location at the bottom of the hill into Broadway. Dog walking area far too small. It is a shame my arrival tainted my first solo experience
One of the best sites on the network.
Great location for walking, visiting, touring and beautiful countryside.
Easy to get to with no narrow roads. Large pitches. Wardens keep the site immaculate.
Some road noise, depending where you pitch, but not intrusive.
Two shower blocks. One newish, one old and small but very cute (old goods building). Hence the newer one can be busy at times.
Overall a fantastic site - wardens very helpful and friendly.
Usual caravan club facilities, clean and tidy site.
Lower level men's toilet cubicles could do with increasing as I had to que on numerous occasions as the site was busy.I feel four cubicles for the amount of pitches is insufficient, perhaps converting one or two of the underused privacy wash cubicles would be beneficial. As with many cc sites we have visited I feel a small cafe or tea/coffee room or some type of meeting area would be good.
Excellent site for days out with many Cotswold towns within easy reach.Would definitely recommend the Cotswold falconry centre which we have been to twice and is an excellent day out.
We will return.
Our second visit in a few months and while we were expecting a peaceful time, what we hadn't expected was that some schoolkids had an extra week off at Easter. However, they were well-behaved and simply enjoying themselves on the small playground, which we were parked alongside.
The facilities were up to standard and the pizzas from the Alfresco van were again super-tasty.
Also really convenient for our visit to the nearby Autosleepers factory, which it seems quite a few others on site were
visiting too.
Hopefully back in June.
Me and my family have just visited the Broadway on the whole the park was nice and clean, it lacks in a things to do I've should be a little club house where we could all meet and have a chat. What I must say is that on departure day we was extremely upset by the way we was treated by a member of staff in reception I've never ever come across such a rude and insulting man in my life he was so un helpful and arrogance with it and very abrupt I will not name names but if the caravan club wish to no I'm sure they will write to me. I have only had my membership for a few months and with this bad experience I'm thinking of cancelling it for the incompetence of one member staff. Very disappointed customer.
This was our very first caravan trip so I have nothing to compare to apart from campsites from our previous camping days. Our overall experience was extremely positive, and if this is what we can expect from Caravan Club Sites, we will be very happy indeed!
Arrival was smooth, quick and easy and the wardens very friendly. We have a 1 year old so were given a key to the toddler washroom to keep for our stay which was very convenient. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and offered their help in case we needed it, this being the first time we would set up the caravan and erect the awning.
The site was very clean and tidy and well maintained. The toilet block and other facilities were immaculate every time we used them, even at busy times - and the site was quite full. The toddler washroom was perfect and also very clean - our little boy loved the mini bath!
The pitches looked like they were well maintained and there was plenty of space. The gravel of the hardstanding made getting the awning pegs in the ground tricky, even with metal pegs and a drill, but we got there in the end!
The kids play area was small but again well maintained and more than adequate for our son. For older kids I expect it would get boring quickly, but I thought it was fine.
The site was very busy, especially towards the end of our stay but it was still extremely peaceful and everything still very clean.
Overall we had a lovely stay and this was an extremely positive induction into the caravanning world - can't wait for the next trip!
This was our first visit to the Broadway site and we were very impressed. The location is superb and access very easy. The site was kept immaculate by the wardens and was very attractive in early springtime. The links with the nearby railway are superbly showcased in the upper toilet block, which also contains the famous 'Wanderer' caravan. The only change we would make if we return (which we would certainly be happy to do) would be to choose a pitch a little further away from the play area, which did become quite noisy at times. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Broadway.
First trip of the year and could not of picked better the site was very good in a great location lots to do in the area or just do nothing.
Staff were very helpful every thing was clean/tidy.
Will return to this site very soon.
Spent 2 nights here in mid March before the Easter holidays, a bit surprised at the price increase a week before the main holiday started so no as cheap as we first thought. Nice and clean well laid out. Rabbits and squirrels everywhere so make sure you keep dogs on leads.
