We recently had an overnight stopover here and almost immediately knew that we had made a mistake - we should have booked 3 nights! What a fabulous site, with helpful and friendly wardens, great facilities and so close to lovely Broadway, with its attractive shops. We especially liked Russell's Fish and Chip restaurant - the best fish and chips that we can ever remember having. From now on, Broadway will be our stopover site of choice in this area, but hopefully, for rather more than one night!
Everything about this site could not have been better. On arrival we had a very friendly welcome, the check in was very organised and the instructions to our pitch were very clear. We had a fully serviced pitch which was almost completely level and spacious with a large grassed area behind that was great for our dog. Waste areas were plentiful so nearby. The shower/wash blocks were spotless and well maintained. A must see is the museum with the first known caravan on display.
The site is an easy 10 minutes walk to the town high street. Lots of lovely shops and pubs. The Swan pub was fantastic for Lunch and is dog friendly. We will definitely be back.
Broadway is an excellent site. Afternoon facilities cleaning is a bonus to us. It's the second site we've visited this year that has moved cleaning from morning to afternoon. I would not have believed how much more relaxing this is to us. Thanks to the wardens involved as it can not be an easy change considering the time involved. Anyway, site excellent, wardens excellent (friendly and helpful), location excellent apart from the main road into Broadway. Whoever erected the 30mph signs should have also left an explanation as to their meaning. Broadway village is very nice and easy level walk for those able. Budgens supermarket is expensive but they are local and if you can walk then you're not using expensive fuel. The larger chains, such as Tesco, Morrisons and Aldi are on the way into Evesham. National Trust properties are in the area but if you have a dog, check access before you go. A very nice relaxing break, thank you.
Return visit to an excellent club site, having done grandparents duty during the summer, we were looking forward to a relaxing week, with Broadway just a short walk away this site doesn't disappoint, facilities and grounds and pitches are beautifully kept, site staff are very friendly and helpful. Broadway village is a gem with some lovely shops and fabulous restaurants and pubs catering for all tastes, we try and stay at this site every year, it's going to be interesting to see how popular it will be when the new station opens next year.
Lovely site, helpful and friendly wardens we stayed on the upper level with lovely views across the fields.
Shower block was immaculate and added bonus of being in where the horse drawn caravan was displayed.
Will have he added bonus of the steam train pick up point just over the road to the club was told by end of march. Lovely village of beautiful Cotswolds stone with lovely independent shops. Russell's fish shop worth a visit. We had nice meal at the swan in the high street as well. Lots if tea shops and eateries.
Flag the bus down right outside site and you can go various places quite easily we took a trip to moreton in marsh and revisited Tilly's tea shop which welcomes dogs inside and out.
Site a credit to club.
Broadway is a firm favourite which we have stayed at quite a few times over the years. This is the first time with the motorhome so it was good to see the new open grill drain point. The facilities are good and even the Wifi was reasonable. The site was busy as I expect it always is. Out and about it was good to see that Broadway Station is almost complete with train services due to start next year. The lovely honey stoned village of Broadway is just over a mile from the site. As well as lots of cafe's and gift shops there is a small Budgens supermarket for essential supplies.
We stayed at the Broadway Caravan Club Site recently on our way back from a short break in the New Forest. Broadway is about half way home for us, so it was an ideal place to stop. The site was immaculate, the staff extremely friendly and knowledgable. The lady in reception recommended a local pub,The Crown & Trumpet which is just a short walk away, and we had a wonderful evening meal which was inexpensive and wholesome. The Hard Standing pitch was huge and well spaced from our neighbours, so we had a very peaceful and quiet night, along with the advantage of fully serviced facilities, even TV aerial plug-in! We would be very happy to stay at the Broadway site again, it was a delight and we cannot recommend it highly enough.Thank you to the team at Broadway!
A good location, well laid out, easy access ,have stayed here several times, never disappointed regardless of the weather, interesting to see the very first leisure caravan on display and read its history , and good fish and chips van visits several times a week
A nice, quiet site, perfect facilities, even staff cleans the loo's during the afternoon. Nice easy stroll to the village of Broadway, which is lovely quaint upmarket village. The best pub for meals we feel is at the latter end of the village, what we call a locals pub. Nice, lunches and meals. Not really impressed by the the others for meals. Nicely cooked but nothing special we thought. But...... the Fish and Chip restaurant... a must. Wine and dine... best to date. April 2018 new railway, opposite site. Maybe only a country short railed service, but it shall be open. We shall visit again, enjoyed the time there
No reflection on the Club or Site Staff as the site is excellent and we will certainly return but what we won't be doing again is having the Fish & Chips as they were overpriced, the fish was greasy and the chips had obviously been frozen. Am told that Russell's in the village are much better and not as expensive although we didn't try them.
