Pleasant revisit

We last visited this site several years ago before the refurbishments. There are now plenty of hardstanding pitches in good condition and the more open aspect at the furthest end of the site suited us very well. We liked the space around our pitch and the landscaping of hedges and small trees. Our visit was affected by Storm Ophelia but the site came out unscathed only a loss of sleep during a very windy night. The facilities are well maintained and coped well with a full complement of units. The location is excellent close to Broadway and on a bus route for further trips away. The Cotswold area is full of interesting places to visit from nearby towns, National Trust properties and lovely walks. All this information is available from a well stocked Information Room. The site is visited by food outlets (Fish and Chips and Pizzas) but we did not use them. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in Broadway if you wish to eat out. A great site and one we will revisit sooner rather than later.

Great Site

Best ever site visited to date, we like to try different areas so don't very often go back to revisit. Peaceful and well sheltered we visited mid October during the storm. We were on the lower tier and hardly noticed the weather. Would recommend this site to anyone. Staff friendly and helpful at all times.

First visit to the Cotswolds

We chose the Broadway site not knowing anything about the Cotswold area. So glad we did, during our time there we made trips to Moreton and Bourton (by bus from just outside the site entrance) and the site and the village of Broadway were in our opinion, the best. Many pubs and hotels serving great food, a good variety of shops and just as importantly, very friendly and helpful staff on the site. We would have stayed longer but there was an event at the weekend and the site was fully booked ! We shall return.

Great site

We stayed here in our motorhome for 3 nights towards the end of September. The site is very well maintained and the facilities are good. The wardens keep everything very clean and tidy, and were very helpful. The location is convenient for the village, where there are some nice shops and places to eat. The Broadway Hotel serves a good lunch at a reasonable price. We can also recommend the walk up the hill to Broadway Tower. Unfortunately it was overcast that day, but had it been a nice day the views would have been magnificent. Also, it is well worth taking a look at the "Wanderer" stored at the top of the site in the old railway shed.

Excellent site

Spotlessly clean and warm washrooms. Good sized level pitches. Friendly and efficient wardens. One of the best sites we've visited.

Fabulous site

We recently had an overnight stopover here and almost immediately knew that we had made a mistake - we should have booked 3 nights! What a fabulous site, with helpful and friendly wardens, great facilities and so close to lovely Broadway, with its attractive shops. We especially liked Russell's Fish and Chip restaurant - the best fish and chips that we can ever remember having. From now on, Broadway will be our stopover site of choice in this area, but hopefully, for rather more than one night!

Best site we have visited

Everything about this site could not have been better. On arrival we had a very friendly welcome, the check in was very organised and the instructions to our pitch were very clear. We had a fully serviced pitch which was almost completely level and spacious with a large grassed area behind that was great for our dog. Waste areas were plentiful so nearby. The shower/wash blocks were spotless and well maintained. A must see is the museum with the first known caravan on display. The site is an easy 10 minutes walk to the town high street. Lots of lovely shops and pubs. The Swan pub was fantastic for Lunch and is dog friendly. We will definitely be back.

Excellent site

Broadway is an excellent site. Afternoon facilities cleaning is a bonus to us. It's the second site we've visited this year that has moved cleaning from morning to afternoon. I would not have believed how much more relaxing this is to us. Thanks to the wardens involved as it can not be an easy change considering the time involved. Anyway, site excellent, wardens excellent (friendly and helpful), location excellent apart from the main road into Broadway. Whoever erected the 30mph signs should have also left an explanation as to their meaning. Broadway village is very nice and easy level walk for those able. Budgens supermarket is expensive but they are local and if you can walk then you're not using expensive fuel. The larger chains, such as Tesco, Morrisons and Aldi are on the way into Evesham. National Trust properties are in the area but if you have a dog, check access before you go. A very nice relaxing break, thank you.

Return and Relax

Return visit to an excellent club site, having done grandparents duty during the summer, we were looking forward to a relaxing week, with Broadway just a short walk away this site doesn't disappoint, facilities and grounds and pitches are beautifully kept, site staff are very friendly and helpful. Broadway village is a gem with some lovely shops and fabulous restaurants and pubs catering for all tastes, we try and stay at this site every year, it's going to be interesting to see how popular it will be when the new station opens next year.

Immaculate

Lovely site, helpful and friendly wardens we stayed on the upper level with lovely views across the fields. Shower block was immaculate and added bonus of being in where the horse drawn caravan was displayed. Will have he added bonus of the steam train pick up point just over the road to the club was told by end of march. Lovely village of beautiful Cotswolds stone with lovely independent shops. Russell's fish shop worth a visit. We had nice meal at the swan in the high street as well. Lots if tea shops and eateries. Flag the bus down right outside site and you can go various places quite easily we took a trip to moreton in marsh and revisited Tilly's tea shop which welcomes dogs inside and out. Site a credit to club.
