Great site....

We've been returning to this site for the last four years as it ticks all the boxes for location, facilities etc etc in fact it's everything you come to expect from a club site. New for this year are the serviced pitches and the enhanced facilities for motorhomes...but by far the best change to the site is the decision not to clean the shower block till mid afternoon..after all, we are meant to be on holiday and it's far more relaxing now the times have changed. As for the staff on site, they are friendly and as helpful as ever....Thank you for helping to make the last 7 days a wonderful holiday...despite the weather !!

As good as it gets

We know the Broadway area well but this is the first time at the C&MH Club site. We stayed for a week and it was excellent. Pitches very large and very well laid out - lots of trees and hedges - upkeep very good. We will be back to this site as there is so much to do in this outstanding area. Some road noise but not too bad and the morning chorus made up for this. Some noise from the work being done on site but this is only temporary. All the usual plaudits about great staff and modern, spotless facilities apply in spades but two great points - (1) Toilet block cleaned in the afternoon which made it much more relaxing in the mornings (2) Full marks to the Club for the new motorhome point - the wider grey water disposal made life much easier. Too many excellent pubs/eateries in the area to mention but just two to mention - (1) The Fleece Inn at Bretforton (short drive away) is an authentic National Trust pub - famous for the asparagus festival - great food and folk night and Morris Dancers were good fun (2) Russells Fish and Chip shop just off Broadway High Street - posh fish and chips - takeaway or eat in. Broadway Deli also excellent for local produce and more exotic things. As an area and as it site this is as good as it gets for us - highly recommended.

Easter Break

Great site in a great location, plenty to see and do in the local area. Facilities are all modern and spotlessly clean, on my last visit to this site I got stuck in traffic so gave myself a little extra time. On this visit I had a traffic free journey arriving at 11:30 and was meet with a very frosty welcome. apart from that we had a great holiday (11 nights) and recommend this site as a great base for visit the Cotswolds.

Gem of a site

What a lovely site, set on the edge of Broadway village, within easy walking or cycling of the heart of the village. There are pubs, outdoor eating, local produce shops and souvenirs. The village is one of the most picturesque villages in the Cotswolds, so don't forget your camera. Site is on three tiers, but note the disabled facilities are on the lower tier. There are super pitches, but if you require disabled facilities the standard pitches are closer to the toilet block. The upper toilet block and info room is the old railway goods shed and in is housed the original first caravan, the Wanderer, which was a pleasant surprise. The away services on site include mobile pizza and a chippie van ( see reception for days). Toilets get cleaned once in the afternoon which really works as there was no big rush for toilets and showers in the morning. Will visit again soon, top marks. There are many places to visit, so take your time and enjoy. The Broadway Tower is also worth a drive to for the views.

A lovely peaceful site!

I had seen this site through the hedge from a road at the back of the site. it looked good to me. We stayed there for seven nights. The site is peaceful, well maintained, clean, and the staff are very pleasant and readily helpful. local mobile food outlets for 'fish and chips' and 'Pizza' visit the site weekly and there is a convenient garage shop with all the essentials available adjacent to the site entrance. The local walks start just outside the site entrance. We really enjoyed the site. The only criticism would be the very small dog walk. However, with the local walks so close its not a problem. Overall I rate this site very highly and recommend it to all members.

Excellent site

Site was very clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly. Shower/toilet blocks very clean. There is a short walk into broadway, which is a pretty village and has nice pubs. Lots of dogs so very dog friendly.

Great base for the Cotswolds

We stayed for 5 days this Easter holidays. The site was absolutely full but the facilities were always immaculate and didn't feel busy. The wardens were delightful. The countryside is of course amazing. There was some noise from the road behind us and that is why I didn't give 5 stars for peace and quiet but it didn't bother us at all.

One motorhome and a dog

Stayed for 2 days over Easter. Site was fab, loverly to see red kites flying overhead, site good as per caravan club. However, we thought it was a bit expensive (£62 for 2 nights) considering there was no extra facilities over and above the usual caravan club site ones. Perhaps the club could consider having a smaller pitches area for motorhomers who need less space than caravans with awnings and cars and charging a little less?

Fabulous Easter

It is some years since we last stayed at Broadway so a re-visit was timely for 2017 and really my wife and I should not have left it so long for our return. The site is deceptively large but perhaps due to its landscaping and the fact that it is a long and narrow site one is never really aware just how many pitches there are. The site is the epitome of what a well run site should be with a wardens team who obviously take great pride in what they are doing. Everything the Cotswold region has to offer is encapsulated near here and it is paradise for walkers and those who like to discover little out of the way places such as charming cafes and farm shops bursting with local produce. A little close to a busy urban road on one side of the site so choose your pitch with care but the large pitches compensate for any traffic noise that you may encounter. It will be interesting to see how the extension of the heritage steam railway affects the site when the refurbished Broadway railway station is opened sometime in 2018, but a definite advantage for those who wish to sample the nostalgia of steam hauled rail travel and perhaps to visit Cheltenham at the other end of the line. Well done to Broadway and if I may coin a phrase? 'I give you my regards'!!!

Great site!

Just stayed at Broadway for the first time and thought it was one of the best sites we have stayed on. I agree with one of the other reviewers about the afternoon cleaning of the facilities which was a refreshing change! The only thing that I was disappointed with was the same problem as most sites have - people/family visiting caravans at weekends. These people are usually noisy, cause other caravanners hassle and appear after the wardens have finished for the day which makes you think they don't contribute towards the Club's finances. There are still issues with speeding on site as we watched one senator caravan take off over the humps and had no wheels on the ground - please slow down before someone is killed. I will definitely be visiting this site as the location and warden's are great - well done. Beautiful biscuits too!!
