This was our first visit to this site and had a lovely time. Looking forward to when the new motorhome service point is ready for use. Will definitely visit the site again.
We've often used this site whilst my daughter has been a student in Brighton. This time it was for her graduation. We were given a warm welcome, managed to extend our stay during a busy period, and had no issues - what more could we want?
Great staff; efficient, friendly and hard working. Facilities clean and the dubious pleasure of radio 2!
The undulating and wooded location seems a world away from buzzing Brighton.
It's a pity that the new motorhome service area isn't open yet as congestion sometimes occurs on the only the drain and fill area.
Always seems to be full during summer weekends.
Stayed again at this brilliant site and really cannot fault the people running it, facilities and location. We were treated, as usual, in a friendly jovial manner and we're given all the information required to start our short break. The facilities are excellent and kept beautifully clean and tidy. The staff are cheerful and helpful at all times. The site is situated just outside Brighton with good walks all round. There is a good bus service into Brighton if walking is a problem and there is an Asda and many eateries in the nearby Marina area. There is so much to see and do in Brighton and we can't wait to go back for our next visit!
Stayed here for 4 nights and had a great time. Brighton and surrounding countryside were amazing. Especially liked the marina area and devils dyke. Love to come back and recommend to anybody as there is something for everybody here.
We two spent 3 days here. Lovely experience all round. Brighton itself is really interesting and the marina has lovely restaurants. Great for bikes, cinema and shopping. Could not fault it.
we could only book standard without awning which gave us 11 pitches to choose from, 4 of these were on top of the play area, so that brought us down to 7, the blonde lady warden was a bit abrupt when I asked could she let me know which ones were free, other CC sites have it up on a whiteboard so easy to tell at a glance, but she highlighted all the pitches and was told to drive around and find out for myself. We had a look at the map thinking pitch 2 or 3 would suit us best with regards to the dogs and exiting the site for their toilet business to find these were pods, so why highlight them?? The site is very shaded and most pitches lose the evening sun by 7pm so if you are out for the day and fancy chilling outside of the evening then the only pitches that could provide the late sun were the row adjacent to the first toilet block. The toilet blocks are not key coded and my husband noticed on several occasions a gentleman using the facilities but his MH was not on site as it was full he was parked up illegally on the access road to the site. The main advantage to this site is its proximity to Brighton so I can see why its popular but its not for everyone and we probably wont be back, out of the 6 sites we visted on this holiday this was our least favourite
