Great site still. Many visits. Suggestion

I have reviewed before and wanted just to echo my overall satisfaction with the site and add a further suggestion for improvement. I found the water in the wash cubicles rather luke warm and the constant radio in the background intrusive and unnecessary. Thanks to the staff for their helpfulness and hard work.

NICE SITE

Arthur Tolver , The site has some very friendly and helpfull staff i had problems with the Wi Fi and they kindley got in touch with the supplyers and sorted it out for me .We like staying at Brighton because it's a good site to bike down to the town centre and also beyond and it's got good cycle tracks which are off the road away from traffic . You can cycle right down by the sea front and to sevaral places which is vert good and it is flat no hills . You can also catch the bus to Eastbourne which is a nice day out and the bus stop is only 10 minutes walk from the site and they run very frequently which is a great help to us pensioners .

Lovely friendly site

We booked in here for 2 nights at the beginning of November, after phoning and being recommended to join the caravan club, upon arrival we were made to feel instantly welcome and a part of the community. Site was awesome and a real credit to the team who run it. This is a real jewel of a site, within waking distance for the marina and for those who like a good walk you can walk to the pier and the town which we managed on both days, local transport a short walk from the site but very regular. Can't get over how immaculate the site was and look forward to planning more adventures in this location

Ideal for a late autumn break

We booked two nights on this lovely campsite and ended up staying for 3. As already mentioned, the site is close enough to Brighton and the super Marina complex for it to be easily accessible on foot or by bus, but in a beautifully quiet valley location. We didn't have the best of weather but braved the mizzle nevertheless to walk to the Marina on our first afternoon and into Brighton on the second day. Our third we spent again at the marina, watching Spectre the new James Bond film. The site is beautifully maintained and the facilities are clean and warm. The warden on duty on our arrival and the subsequent day was very helpful and friendly and told us about the buses and how to walk into Brighton. The big plus is the marina which is only a 15 minute walk which has lots of shops and eateries, an Asda, plus Casino and John Lloyd complex of either interest you and a multiscreen cinema. The buses are also regular and quick and stop close to Lidl or Coop on the way back. Definitely one for a return visit or two next year when the weather is a bit more clement. Although I have a feeling it is pretty popular in the warmer seasons.

Weekend in Brighton

With the two caravans and one motorhome all parked up it was time to enjoy one of our groups birthday weekend. Despite a couple of negative reviews (not deserved) we found the site clean, well kept, friendly staff and quiet. All the things we expected from a CC run site. It being the end of school half term and veteran car run weekend the site was absolutely full. A very efficient bus service is available within half a mile which will connect you to all parts of Brighton. The coastal service to Eastbourne is well worth a ride and there is the opportunity to hop off and take in some exercise on this magnificent coast. Birthday treat was a trip on the Brighton Wheel at sunset, some good views over the city. We visited the Pavilions on our last trip but its an excursion you should add along with a stroll around the Lanes. The cycle routes are very good giving access all along the Brighton seafront and beyond, again within half a mile of the site. Enjoy. Alan

Perfect for Brighton. Close enough but not too far.

We used this site in our Motorhome at the end of October so that we could attend a Joe Bonamassa concert at the Brighton Centre. It needed to be close enough to be able to Bus or Taxi into town as we didn't have a car and this site is on a bus route so was ideal. But when we looked at how far the walk was after dark to the road from the site, we decided to book a taxi which cost £10 each way door to door, which was perfect.  I had read poor reviews about this site in the past and I can only say that I was dumb founded at how nice the site was compared to the reviews. It was immaculate throughout, especially in the facilities (which had radio 2 playing when I went in there), and the layout was superb, plus the staff were all very friendly. The motorhome service point was very well positioned and clean. Cycling is very safe with the sea front only half a mile away with its promenades and all flat (except the last little run up the road to the site). We will definitely be returning, whether to another concert or not. Excellent.

Perfect for all the Family

Stayed at this site during half term with my partner and our 5 year old boy. We had a fantastic time and I would highly recommend to all. The staff are fantastic and very welcoming. The facilities are just amazing, very clean and loads of hot water. There is a laundry which is ideal when you have little a one who spills almost every drink. The site is in the perfect location far enough out to be quiet but close enough to not be isolated. The Marina is 1 mile from the site and parking is free for 4 hours, also you are not penalised if you return to the marina car park in the same day. There is also a huge ASDA at the Marina so getting supplies is not a problem. Love the site and will most definitely return. Sincere thanks to all that run the site.

Everything you need.

Great location that is easily accessible even with big rigs. Facilities all well kept and spotless by a really friendly and very helpful team. The kids on site seem to enjoy the play areas and for us dog walkers there were plenty of options from a quick sniff about to a full blown downs hike. Very close to Brighton so you can easily leave your vehicles and stroll to the town. Its a must visit site.

Great site

Very good facilities - all were spotlessly clean and plenty of water and waste points. Great location - just 15 mins walk from the marina and only 40 mins from the centre of Brighton. Despite going during school holidays when the site was full it was very quiet and the staff very helpful.
