Fab Site and Facilities

We stayed on this site for 4 nights in October 2015. The site is kept in a very clean and tidy condition. Wardens are on hand and pleasant and helpful. The standard that this site is kept is very high, a credit to the wardens. Site, very handy for the Brighton Marina, which has a train running to Brighton centre. We can see why this site is hard to get a reservation. Our only complaint is the showers which do not have a dry area within to get dressed, therefore clothes get wet when getting dressed. Just saying.

Ideally Located Campsite

We have stayed at this site approx. twice a year for the past 3 years and find its location perfect for visiting Brighton and surrounding areas (with bus stops a short walk away for when we don't wish to drive). The staff are helpful and friendly and you are given information, bus timetables and a gold card for the Marina - should you wish to use it! The site is well maintained and the facilities are kept clean and are of a high standard. We will continue our regular visits to this site!

Just Great

We spent 10 nights here, late Sept - early Oct. The entry road did not hamper access, but egress a different storey (units arriving early)!. The site is well cared for, that is well up to expected club standard. The wardens always polite and helpful. The site is well situated for access to Brighton and a host of other south coast/Sussex destinations. A point to note parking charges in Brighton are offensive. This is a venue that we will visit again.

Brilliant site - loved it!

Our first weekend away in our camper van (as novices) and we couldn't have chose a better site! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were friendly, full of information regarding the site and the area. The bus stop was a short walk away, easy to find and buses ran every couple of minutes, making it effortless to spend a day out at Brighton seafront. I think we may have been spoilt as it will be hard to meet the standards provided at this site at another.

Great location but ...

Great location just outside Brighton with the downs accessible. It was quite a crowded site. Main complaint was that the toilet facilities weren't up to usual Club standard on the maintenance side. Often no toilet paper and handwash ran out and wasn't replaced for more than a day. It backs on the downs and it would be good if there was access direct onto the downs - is that possible?

Brighton Car show weekend

We come every year to this site and as always the facilities were spotless and I am pleased to say we got a warm welcome from the friendly and helpful wardens, much better than it use to be. Now most of the caravans on the approach road have gone the drive to the site is much more appealing.

Autumn weekend

This is a lovely club site, friendly staff, well laid out and very clean and tidy. We found our pitch easily and although on a slope it was very nice. Only downside was the staff mini tractors which were busy and a bit noisy. The facilities were very good and spotless, although the shower cubicles were a bit small. The site is well placed, close to buses into Brighton and within walking distance of the Marina

Nice site but noisy staff vehicles

We were disappointed at the noise level from staff mini tractors checking around the site at 7 in the evening and maintenance work early on the Sunday morning. In the evening it seemed that the pitches were being repeatedly checked for about an hour and the noise disturbed our enjoyment of sitting out. On other sites vehicles are quieter and not noticeable.
