This was our second visit to the Brighton site. We liked the location - it's easy to walk, or get a bus, into Brighton from the site. Scored 4 for Peace and Quiet (could have been lower) during our stay as there was a lot of building work noise during the day from an adjacent building site. Cannot really comment on the 'Good for Families' question as we had no children with us.
The team were very helpful and friendly - thank you team.
Not sure how access will be during the summe as I recall from our first visit the appraoch can easily get blocked up and it seemed this could still occur when the area gets busy.
Pretty good overall
We stopped for 1 night during the Feb half term...booking on line about 20 minutes before arriving - which seems was a good idea as it looked pretty full when we pitched! Facilities were excellent as you'd expect as was the price (for a CC site in a good location). We'd paid 35% more for a stay at the C&CC's Chichester site earlier in the week - for limited facilities in a worse location. Anyway, only down point - the CC web site stated a shop was on site - so we walked back from Brighton, past shops - planning to buy bread and milk form the site shop - only to me told it wasn't actually open until March! Misleading. One of the lady wardens was awesome -asked what we needed - pretty sure she was about to offer us supplies from her own fridge! We had enough to get by with for the night - but was a lovely gesture. Very recommended!
Visit 12 to 17 Feb 2016
This was our first visit to the Brighton site. We liked the location - it's easy to walk in to Brighton from the site. However, we were disappointed that both toilet blocks were closed for cleaning at similar times in the mornings (10.30 to 12 and 10 to 11.15). The club should not allow such overlap. Also during our stay there was a lot of intrusive noise during each weekday from an adjacent building site. The club should warn members about this in advance of their stay.

First time CC visitors
We are new to the CC and were not sure what to expect. We had a super time, everyone was so friendly. The facilities were first class. Great pitches not too close together.
Easy to walk to the bus stop to get to the city centre. Great with bikes to cycle along the sea front.
It wasn't very quiet though. Building works near by.
We will be back :-)
lovely little gem
what a brill site. nestled in a little valley of its own. very clean and wardens around all the time. showers really powerful and kept clean as toilets also in the same block. Fish and chip van goes on site every Fri evening. bins emptied daily. not too far away from Brighton center and the marina either as a walk or drive. would defiantly recommend to anyone we will be going back and that,s for sure. staff very friendly. like i said a little gem
Five Night Winter Break
We arrived at the Brighton CC Site in the knowledge that the weather was changing from calm mild conditions to a rather windy weekend. This long weekend was very timely for us and we had been looking forward to some "time out". We enjoyed a gentle stroll down to the beach on our first day following a 4 hour drive to site. The overnight weather forecast predicted 60 to 80 mph winds as Storm Imogen struck the south coast. Sure enough, we sustained 2 full days of windy weather. The site is slightly sheltered in the valley surrounded with sports fields. The nearby park areas were ideal for dog walking and the local public transport was a short distance away. This site was very clean and tidy. The bushes and trees had been cut back and the grassed areas protected from use by vehicles, so on arrival the site looked amazing. We were impressed by the security and the amount of lighting on the site. We were greeted by a very friendly team of wardens and we were given a brief guide and map of the site and surroundings. We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the facilities and we watched the wardens clearing up litter that had blown round the site during the storm. We pitched at the far end of the site which proved to be very quiet and there were a few vacant pitches around us so we felt we had extra space. Thanks to the wardens and the CC for setting such high standards on our winter sites. We can't wait until our next break at Easter.
3 week stay
We enjoyed our 21 night stay here. We spent a day visiting the Marina where we enjoyed a pub lunch at Wetherspoons.
We also enjoyed walks around the park and up on the hill behind the site with its views of the town centre, the sea, coastline and pier.
We liked the way it was all lit up at night with its many bars and restaurants. We look forward to returning for another three week stay in about two weeks time.
A Nice Break
Stayed at beginning of Feb when most of uk being battered by storms. Luckily we had 4 dry days. Site was well cared for with clean warm facilities block & plenty of hot water. Not too many people there so only 1 block open. 1 night had football match adjacent to site so a lot of noise till it finished. On the top level there is noise from a nearby recycling area. Visited Brighton one day. Walked on hill adjacent to site & visited marina. Also RSPB's reserves @ Pulbrough Books (great café) & Dungeness. Can't comment really regarding suitability for families.

Clean, Friendly & welcoming
We are just back from a week stay at Brighton, loved it, have been before & always excellent.
I just wish wish wish the Caravan Club had more sites open all year round, I'm sure there are more people like ourselves who love wandering in the winter months. Would be super to have another couple sites open along the south coast. There is so much to visit & see but nowhere to stay ! Keep up the good work Brighton !!
South Coast Visit
Good clean site - just as you would expect from a club site. Efficient and welcoming staff. Good location for both marina and town centre. Plenty of restaurants and theatres to choose for a good day out. Several National Trust properties within reasonable distance. Suggest staff have a word with local council to tidy up litter from hedges on approach to site - this is why I did not give a 5 for overall rating.
