Winter Break

Good choice for a winter trip. Spacious pitches and all hard-standing in winter. Close to bus for the town and then buses go everywhere from town square. Good walking or cycling along promenades. Staff pleasant and helpful with typed instructions to bus stop, beach and marina.

Excellent site

We stayed here for 2 nights on a very cold winter weekend but the site was still quite full. Immaculately kept site, lots of hardstanding pitches, very peaceful. Loo block warm and clean. Bracing walk down to the seafront and into Brighton. Will definitely go back.

Visiting Brighton again

A large, busy site. Good pitch size with electric hook up and hard standing. Hard standing very hard for rock pegs.  We received a very warm welcome from site wardens, who were always willing to offer help and advice. There was only one shower block open, although the second opened for the weekend when a rally was arriving. The facilities were clean and well maintained, although the closure time for cleaning seemed excessive - 2 hours. Excellent dog walking outside the site; on the Downs there are numerous paths and the cafe by the football field allows dogs inside. A craft shop/cafe by the marina also lets dogs inside. There are plenty of food shops nearby, eg Co-op and Asda. We would certainly visit again.

Perfunctory

Staying the last weekend of November, we found the site clean, professional and pleasant but the attitude of the staff on Reception perfunctory. This is contrary to the warm, welcoming and informative check-ins we've received at other CC sites.Neither good nor bad and unwilling to think outside the box. despite not being full, they wouldnt consider reserving a pitch near to ours for our family arriving later. We were surprised, not to mention crossed legged, on Sunday morning that the male loos in both Shower Blocks were closed for cleaning.

Great place and we'll run.

We have two nights on the site at the end of November the welcome was good, the washrooms were warm and clean and well serviced .  The facilities for collecting water and disposing of dirty water was excellent.  It is in a great location for access into Brighton especially if you have bikes preferably electric ones !  I 30 enjoyable experience and we will certainly be back !

An excellent site

The site was easy to find, the first impressions of the site were good and welcoming, the staff were excellent and we did not find anyone that was unhelpful, the showers, toilets and washing up area were clean and warm, with no flying bugs in them, which is good for my wife as she doesn't like them too much. The site workers were constantly about checking everything. We will definitely re-visit

A lovely site

I've stayed at this site several time this year, usually with my dog. All the staff have always been friendly and helpful, and (as ever) the facilities were very clean. The site is located in a large, somewhat "undulating" (i.e. hilly!) park, but the pitches are all very level. I'm already looking forward to booking my pitch here for next year.

Very Convenient to Brighton

We have just returned from a longish weekend at this site, the site was up to the normal CC high standard. There is no Dog walk at the site, however there is a patch of rough ground adjacent to the site for toilet duty and a fab park a little further down the road for more energetic dog exercise. The site is a short walk from the Marina and a bus ride into town (driving into Brighton on a Saturday is a no no due to very heavy traffic. The site is certainly worth using of you are visiting Brighton, we will certainly be back.
