Nice Quiet And peacefull

Lovely Site well kept friendly wardens (no choice of pitch when we arrived Saturday afternoon) Not a problem a nice a pitch as most on the bottom bay. Nice dog walk on site. (Would like other people to be more responsible for their dogs and clean up after them.) Marks out of 10 ... 9.5 .Only down side our Kids are growing up now so were a bit bored as it is a bit out of the way. Apart from that Great Site.

Easter review

We visited this site over the Easter bank holiday. The site has unusually large pitches that are also positioned in a way that offer additional privacy. Pitches 52, 53 and 54 are in my opinion the best. The lower area near the wardens office have quite a long walk to the shower blocks.  The site is very well managed by the wardens and assistants and is exceptionally clean. However the usual friendly and welcoming smile by the warden was missing at reception. I don't suppose we can be happy and cheerful all of the time. However, a very direct to the point type attitude and lack of response to small talk relayed on a number of occasions left me wondering which end of the season it was! or if the right career choice had been made?. The site has a quality and well built play area for older children 5 yrs and above. Due to the nature of some of the unusual play equipment adult supervision is proberly required for up to 8 -10 yrs of age. Unfortunately for us there was no equipment for toddlers under 5 yrs. I feel the CC have missed a trick here! . We did find a local park off site with infant swings, but a car ride away. The area had lots to offer. We enjoyed Sewerby village for fish and chips and a bench overlooking the sea. From here you can take a costal walk on grass or path down hill to Bridlington town.  The coastal novelty train is available for the return journey if you wish.

Lovely site

Stayed here for 5 nights,  lovely clean site.   So peaceful and everyone so friendly.   The facilities were spot on,  it's a fair walk if your after a pub,  but if it's peace and quiet your after this is for you.   The coastal walks are fantastic and our GSD loved every minute.   Definitely be coming back,  thaks

Perfect site

Stayed here for 2 nights and it was wonderful.  I can't put my finger on what makes it wonderful, but it was.  The dogs loved it too, the large dog walk area was one of the best they've been on.  The only thing I didn't take to, and it was because we had the dogs with us, was the farmers bird scarer going off at different times of the day, and night.  One of our digs is very nervous, and he kept jumping out of his skin.  The other dog is deaf, so I guess we can't complain too much.  All in all we would return, and the wardens were wonderful too.

Lovely Facilities - Bit Out Of The Way!

First visit this year to Bridlington and found it to be much the same as previously - friendly wardens, good dog walk, bit of noise from the nearby malting factory and a little off the beaten track for local attractions. Sewerby is within walking distance but elsewhere is only accessible by car, the local farm shop is a little expensive and not always well stocked, but the adjoining tea rooms are brilliant and good value for money! One really frustrating thing is that we have often tried to book this site for a weekend stay and found it to be full - during our stay the website showed it to be full yet there were spare pitches. Hopefully if these are club members letting us down they are getting a suitable warning, but if they are non-members, hopefully they have always pre-paid for their pitches and the club is not losing revenue. For us its frustrating!!!

Golf Course Walk NO NO

We had a great stay here last weekend but must mention that even though the notice on the site Information board confirmed it was OK to walk with dogs on a lead across the land owned by the Golf Club (In accordance with the recent article in the club magazine), that is not the case. We followed the route exactly until you come to beside the green shed. Then the walk has been closed off, presumably by the Golf Club. We got shouted at by a golf club member and it is evident the golf club do not want the route used. Indeed at the front entrance is a big sign saying no dogs, no access to footpath etc etc. We have told the nice wardens who are looking into this. I don't blame the CC but its irresponsible of the article writer to put the route for publication in the magazine.

Another lovely winter long weekend

Visited for second time and didn't want to leave.    Very well kept site.  All facilities modern and immaculate at all times.  Friendly staff.  Great fenced dog walk, although if your dog is small keep an eye because it may be able to get under the bottom wire and escape (as ours did to chase rabbits!). Good location for walks, beaches and towns.  Definately will be visiting again.  Highly recommended, but it it gets booked up quickly (with good reason!).

Brilliant Bridlington

Fantastic Site to visit, were able to Visit Bridlington Filey and Scarbourough easily from this location. The best walk approx six miles leave site to Danes Dyke then to Sewerby Hall Walking along the cliff top. Break for a cup of tea at Sewerby. The beach at danes dyke is worth a look at. The site is fantastic and Tv reception is good. Excellent helpful Wardens.
