This site is fairly new and the whole place is immaculate and cannot be faulted. There are a couple of places to eat within easy walking distance. We visited the Golf Club for drink only but the meals looked very reasonably priced and the place is lovely. We would have eaten there had we stayed longer.
You can take several walks from the site, one of which leads you through the golf course and down to the beach. Dogs are allowed on some of the beaches but not the ones nearest to the towns - you need to look out for the signs. Bridlington itself wasn't really for us but the surrounding beaches and countryside are lovely. I would highly recommend this site.

CLINICAL SITE
Just returned from a week at Bridlington. Very nice site indeed, but just a bit clinical in parts as the trees and bushes haven't fully grown yet and when looking in certain directions, a mass of white caravans is a little disappointing. It will be lovely when the screening grows, as it is an incredibly peaceful site, set high up off the main road and well away from any traffic. It has been designed as three separate sections. The middle section has the best access to the superb, underfloor heated toilet block, but the lower section have a bit of a trek. It is immaculately maintained by lovely friendly wardens, who are really happy to give advice about the area. RSPB Bempton Cliffs is nearby, with very cute puffins, gannets, kittiwakes, guillemots and razorbills. It is a comfortable walk to Sewerby Hall and even Bridlington is walkable, along a lovely promenade or by land train for something different. There are numerous eateries in the area and of course, a short drive up the coast takes you to Filey and Scarborough. This is a lovely area and we heartily recommend this site. Out of school holidays, it is perfect peace and quiet.
Easter holidays
We stayed on this site over the glorious Easter week. Whist the site was clean and tidy, the layout good and had good facilities we were very concerned by the speed at which cars drove around the site. It at times felt like we were staying in the middle of a race circuit. However we realise this is not down to the club or the lovely, friendly wardens but down to members being reckless. Please please remember that caravan holidays are largely enjoyed by families so keep to the 5mph limit on site - it's there for a reason

One of the best
This is truly a spectacular site. From the moment you leave the main road the approach gives you confidence that the site will be in good condition. The site is immaculate, the toilet facilities are absolutely spotless and services are plentiful being placed in various positions around the site. The staff are very friendly and most helpful. There are numerous walks from the site and the hourly bus service makes access that much easier. Congratulations to the staff for keeping this site in pristine condition.
Easter Short Stay
What a lovely site to arrive at, easy to find, friendly staff, well maintained, all hard standing which makes life easy, pleasant surrounding villages, shame we could not stay longer due to our family commitments. We found Bridlington resort extremely popular and very busy but much quieter in the evening. Filey was worth a visit and not so busy. Great weather if you could escape the winds even had the b.b.q out first time this year. Agree with previous review on chip shop 149 down the road as we too could not eat a whole portion.
Almost there!
We've just spent 10 nights at this site. Access is very easy. This site has a lovely clean shower block (with a service toilet which is open when cleaning takes place). The pitches are of good size. The layout of 3 separate sections will, I think, become less stark over time as the greenery softens the view. If you have a dog you'll love this site as it has a massive area for dog walks. Unfortunately children are less well catered for - the play area is for 5-10 year olds and there is no open play space anywhere for younger children. This leaves the children having to play on the roads - a dangerous place to be as people seem to think the 5mph speed limits don't apply. Bridlington remains a good family resort and we had fabulous weather which made trips to the beach possible (south beach is sandy, north beach is pebbly). We also visited Sewerby Hall and Bondville Model Village which we really enjoyed. For eating there is a family-friendly food pub on Martongate (The Friendly Forester) which is very reasonably priced - and kids eat for £1! We'd also recommend the fish and chip shop on Martongate called 149 - massive portions though so be careful how much you order! There's also a decent sized Co-op on Martongate. The pitch fees for this site are expensive, especially in school holidays, which may encourage people to use the CLs nearby.
Nice Quiet And peacefull
Lovely Site well kept friendly wardens (no choice of pitch when we arrived Saturday afternoon) Not a problem a nice a pitch as most on the bottom bay. Nice dog walk on site. (Would like other people to be more responsible for their dogs and clean up after them.) Marks out of 10 ... 9.5 .Only down side our Kids are growing up now so were a bit bored as it is a bit out of the way. Apart from that Great Site.
Easter review
We visited this site over the Easter bank holiday. The site has unusually large pitches that are also positioned in a way that offer additional privacy. Pitches 52, 53 and 54 are in my opinion the best. The lower area near the wardens office have quite a long walk to the shower blocks. The site is very well managed by the wardens and assistants and is exceptionally clean. However the usual friendly and welcoming smile by the warden was missing at reception. I don't suppose we can be happy and cheerful all of the time. However, a very direct to the point type attitude and lack of response to small talk relayed on a number of occasions left me wondering which end of the season it was! or if the right career choice had been made?. The site has a quality and well built play area for older children 5 yrs and above. Due to the nature of some of the unusual play equipment adult supervision is proberly required for up to 8 -10 yrs of age. Unfortunately for us there was no equipment for toddlers under 5 yrs. I feel the CC have missed a trick here! . We did find a local park off site with infant swings, but a car ride away. The area had lots to offer. We enjoyed Sewerby village for fish and chips and a bench overlooking the sea. From here you can take a costal walk on grass or path down hill to Bridlington town. The coastal novelty train is available for the return journey if you wish.
Lovely site
Stayed here for 5 nights, lovely clean site. So peaceful and everyone so friendly. The facilities were spot on, it's a fair walk if your after a pub, but if it's peace and quiet your after this is for you. The coastal walks are fantastic and our GSD loved every minute. Definitely be coming back, thaks
