Visited 12 to 18 July.Arrived and wardens came to us to book in and pay from car.Site is clean with measures in place to follow good practice. Wristbands to pick up outside the toilet blocks to limit entry. People keeping themselves to themselves and getting on quietly with holiday. Hopefully we can all do our bit to stay as safe as we can. We enjoyed the break, have been to this site numerous times, we didn’t travel far as there are loads of good walks from the site.
covid 19 experience
Arrived Saturday 11th July very well organised on entrance. We arrived at time txted by the club only 3 in the que. Sunday 12th some people turned up before 12 as usual and good for the wardens made them wait till 1,00pm.There was a huge q which took till 4.00pm to get everybody in the main road was blocked hopefully only teething problems. Have not used the toilet block surprised they are open at all bit early in this pandemic to trust everybody else at the moment. Not surprised some are taking the wristbands back to their caravans or motorhomes the world is full of selfish people. The information we got on arrival was excellent but as usual some have not bothered to read it as are still walking over occupied pitches and grassed areas as shortcuts, typical.Site is imaculate as always credit to the wardens they need to stay safe the same as rest of us.
First visit after lockdown
Our forth visit to this site. Social distancing very well sorted. Good location easy walking to Flamborough and Bridlington. Good size pitches and well spaced.

1st to book in after Cov19
Due to the Cov19 we had to stay in our motor home and was given a pitch which unfortunately was to near the trees so could not get our satelite dish to work I did ask for a space in the open air but because of the Cov19 the wardens said this was not possible and the pitches were picked out of a hat but they could have swapped one with a person who did not have a satelite dish. I understand that due to Cov19 the information hut was empty no bus time table or where to go and what to see we are strangers to Yorkshire and would have found it helpful if at least some info was enclosed with the pack we were given when we arrived. I also think the site is very over priced and have stayed on similar sites with the caravan and motor home club with the same amenities a lot cheaper. On a lighter note the social distancing was excellent in the showers and toilet blocks you have to take a pink band if there are any if there isn't any bands you have to queue but found my wife took the last band one morning which would have meant there were 5 other people in there only to find the showers and toilets completely empty because of selfish people taking the bands back to their vans so they don't have to queue any more .It wasn't a pleasant stay and as I said far too expensive at £35-00 per night.
Bemused and Confused ...
A second-to-none site with amazing facilities and in a fabulous location so why are we bemused and confused?
We returned to this site as its a firm favourite but were unable to book for the Saturday night. On arrival half the site was closed (despite being newly refurbised and all hardstanding) effectively halving the capacity to take campers. Now, this site is advertised as "all year" so imagine our confusion when told by site staff that the "full site doesn't open until 13th March".
On speaking with fellow campers several also wanted to book for the Saturday only to be advised (website and staff) the site was full.
Quite obviously to those of us on site, it was not full so why not open additional pitches when the demand is there?
Great pitch sizes
The pitch sizes are huge and the site road system allows plenty of space to manoeuvre caravans into position without any difficulty. There are plenty of pubs, restaurants and other eateries nearby and lots of great walks in the area. As expected, the washing facilities were immaculate and very warm - just what was needed after a walk in the brisk winter wind along Flamborough cliffs! Will certainly be returning for another stay at this great site.
1st class stay!
Our first visit to this Caravan Site and was warmly welcomed by very helpful Staff! Everything was explained clearly and the facilities were excellent. Toilet and showers immaculate and well done to Staff involved! The Site itself is Simply Perfect in every way. We had an issue with our Freelander breaking down and Staff involved were extremely helpful, with what was a worrying time for us. We booked an extra 2 nights as really loved it. Would highly recommend this site and will be returning!
One of the best club sites
Stayed 3 nights in January, immaculate tidy site, very open with very large pitches.
Facilities are second to none. The spotless shower block was warm and welcoming on the bleak January days, with lovely hot showers. Easy drive over motorhome point with adjoining Elsan tip.
Large dog walk, shame the recent incessant rain had flooded parts of it, though there is a hose to wash muddy dogs.
Bus stop at the end on the drive in both directions.
Lovely cliff top walk into Bridlington, which considering the recent rain wasn’t too muddy. Clifftop walks around Flamborough were very muddy though, but hey, that’s to be expected this time of year.
Windy Bridlington!
Stayed for 3 nights over a very blowy weekend in January. Lovely site with spacious well laid out pitches. Cheery helpful wardens keeping a watchful eye out for everyone whilst maintaining high standard of facilities. Visited Sewerby Hall and gardens short walk from site (dog friendly grounds and cafe), village of Sewerby with dog friendly pub and a very bracing walk along the coastal path to Bridlington for fish lunch. A great stay and well recommended site.
The best club site
The best club site we have been to and continue returning, the site is absolutely immaculate the facilities and pitches. The staff work really hard keeping it how it is. Would reccomend for anyone.
