Lovely site our regular haunt we agree with all already said but I would like to highlight the fact that the site is shut for months in the winter. The club must be on a loser with this also really sorry to see our wardens are all away at end of season if there are any others of a better quality than Billie and Sean and their team then I have not yet met them. Our loss is anothers gain..
Closed fom November ... WHY?
A newly refurbished site with hard standings and fully serviced pitches. The site has a great location surely both the town and caravan club need the income generated from such a popular site.
Why then is it now closed for months?
Season Finale at Brecon
My wife and I have just returned from our final visit of the season at the Brecon beacons Club Site. We are regular visitors at the site periodically throughout the season.
We think it is the best site in the Caravan Club network.
It is a credit to the club that the standards are maintained up to its closure in October. All the wardens were engaged in the maintenance of the high standards right to end. They deserve high praise for their commitment and hard work.
We are looking forward to our return next year. I believe that the wardens are changing for the forthcoming season. They will have a lot to live up to.
ALL THE BEST TO THE WARDENS
Visited Brecon last weekend for our last trip there 2016. As usual facilities, cleanliness and Wardens were top notch. Sad to say goodbye to the Wardens, Shaun and Billy plus their assistants who will all be elsewhere next year. They have been fantastic to us and will be missed. Our loss, someone else's gain. All the best and good luck to ALL.

Brilliant Brecon
If Carlsberg did club sites then this would be it.
Wardens are happy, helpful with loads of local knowledge.
Toilets are spotless and the site is impeccable.
4 legged friends have a cracking dog walk with a lovely tow path walk to Brecon on the doorstep.
Pen y fan is on the doorstep along with some of the best walks in the country.
We absolutely loved our stay and cant wait to return!!
Brecon Excellence
Spent four days exploring walking and cycling in the Brecons. The site was perfect with excellent facilities, very clean and first rate staff.
Excellent Autumn Break
Stayed for a weekend with my two young children (9&7). Spotless facilities, clean spacious and very well presented grounds. Excellent shop. Great large space and playground for kids to play in. Added bonus discovering the path down to the stream and onto a local pub.
Site lose to the tow path of the canal where we spend two separate days cycling along however it was a bit of a hazard to cross over the busy roads leading to the path. Will definitely be back in the new year when more light and hopefully dry and warm weather will allow me to use this fantastic site as a base to explore the beautiful countryside.
Wow. Fab site
Best site we have stayed on. Toilet block exceptionally clean and brand new. Shop, staff and cleanliness of site excellent. Pitches are large.
Great location for discovering Brecon Beacons' many towns and villages. Pub 10 minutes walk away which serves very tasty food. This area is a must to visit. We will be back.
A Welcome In The Hillside
This site is an absolute charm, the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The toilet & shower facilities are first class & even when some of the club members left the toilets in a bit of a state the staff were at hand to clean up after them. The baby /child changing area was fantastic with a small bath with a seat as part of the bath which our 19 month old son enjoyed enormously, again this area was spotlessly clean. The pitches were well maintained and selecting to stay on the left hand side of the site which was advised by the reception staff as the quieter area due to the two main roads that border the site was well received and appreciated. There is a soft play barn next door to the site which is £3 per child for 2 hours but if it's quiet as it was when we stayed our son was able to stay and play all afternoon. It's a short walk (about a mile) from the site along the canal to Brecon town centre, but you do have to cross the 2 main roads via the pavements to access the canal footpath. A great site for accessing the many attractions in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Well worth a visit.
