We have just returned from a week here.Wardens very friendly, site was very clean ,good information hut [maybe update buses] It was very peaceful.Although there are no designated public footpaths from site,a couple of short walks are near.We cycled along the road to the nearest b road, was a bit hairy??/ Very good for Cirencester,Cotswold water park etc. Nice views if no one parks in front of you  .

Peaceful site with good views

We have just returned after spending 4 days at Bourton. It was the first time we had been there and set up nosing in and facing towards the fields and rolling Cotswold hills - a lovely view. On chatting to the very friendly and helpful warden he called this part of the site 'the balcony'. The site is not cramped up and there are some some great walks straight from the site and round about with some maps and advice supplied by the wardens. They also sell newspapers on site, which is a bonus as it is 4 miles into Bourton shops. There are three dog friendly pubs in the area (all oldy worldy) The best is 'Hollow Bottom' at Guiting Power (about 3 miles away) http://hollowbottom.com/ The site is similar in size and type to Stamford which has WiFi yet this site doesn't...Come on caravan Club install it!

Peace and quite

A great site with good access to the main tourist villages in the Cotswolds.  The wardens were very friendly and keep the site in very good condition.   A bonus was the walk with my two boys along the old railway track bed from the bottom end of the site. A site well worth a visit...

Basic site

Just had a 3 night break as a first visit to this site. Firstly, I would need to describe the location as remote, and 4 miles outside the town. So every trip involves driving. There are no facilities other than service points and an aerial booster. If you are looking for tranquil isolation then this is perfect, but we prefer a little bit of activity.

Great Cotswold Touring Base

Been here a number of times over the years and watched it develop and mature.  It is quiet and a great and in-expensive place to stay to tour this part of the Cotswolds.  Cheltenham, Bourton and Stow are all just down the road.  Walking directly from the site is difficult because of the road.  However, there is some great walking to be had in the area.  Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park and the Gloucestershire/Warwickshire Railway are also within easy reach.  Highly recommended - and the wardens are really helpful.

Tranquillity

This is a lovely well kept small site, set in the Cotswolds.apart from the slight road noise, all you can hear is the sounds of nature, and see the sights of nature,we have been here on a number of occasions and have found the site to allways be in great shape, the village four miles down the road by the same name is to die for,in looks and facilities.

lovely site great wardens

Have stayed on this site on numerous occasions ,and it only gets better now that the club seem to have woken up to the fact that this type of site is a real asset to the network, and have started to do work on the trees and bushes which gives the views of the wonderfull  Cotswolds, and the wardens this year are some of the best  there are nothing was a l for them
