Lovely Long Weekend

This was our first visit to the site and the first trip out for 2015. The site was lovely & clean and the pitch we had was superb as it was close to the dog walk. Our cocker spaniel loved the long walks along the river bank (we found it quite difficult to keep him out of the water) and although I did get a couple of blisters on my feet I did too enjoy the walks. The wardens were also very friendly. Although the weather was a little wet and windy at times we will be back as this is definitely a site well worth visiting again.

My favourite place

Love this site as it's in my most favourite part of the world. We have just spent another week here and the weather was lovely. The wardens are helpful and friendly and the facilities are spotless.  Great walks along the river and if you time the little bus right you could bus to Grassington or Burnsall and walk back along the river. We find it easier and more convenient doing it that way.The little cafe in the car park at Burnsall  do lovely bacon sandwiches and hot drinks at very reasonable prices. (Toilets there too) Or.... You could walk to the abbey and catch the little bus back from the village green around 2pm if you are limited to not too strenuous walking.Timetables in the information office.Dogs are allowed and go free. The Sunday timetable is slightly different and one bus goes direct to Skipton. Some mobile signal can be picked up at the ends of the doggy walk, especially Vodaphone.  Wifi is good. We find buying the annual pass is cheaper than buying as you use it.  There are now more 'with awning' pitches so there is lots more choice. More white pegs now than blue ones. We are back soon, love it!

Lovely long weekend

Just returned from a lovely weekend here. First time we have visited but will definitely come again.  All facilities  up to usual high standard of the club and well maintained by the friendly wardens.  Woodland/river walks next door were a bonus - with disabled access and walks for all levels of ability - great for families or individuals. Lovely views of Bolton Abbey and surrounding area.

Perfect

After a tough winter at work we selected this site for our first outing of 2016. We have been several times and its always perfect. The site is well looked after, the wardens are friendly, facilities spotless and best of all there is no mobile phone signal! In fact I think its the best caravan club site on the circuit. Well done and we will be back again before autumn.

fantastic

We have just returned from 2 nights here, we can't find any fault with this site. Wardens are friendly, facilities are wonderfully clean. It is a lovely peaceful site and the surrounding area is gorgeous. While we were there we booked to go back in the summer!

Great winter break

Just returned from 8 night stay, although we have been caravanning for 20+ years this is the first time we have ventured out at this time of year and it wont be the last. Cant really find anything wrong with this site or the area, wardens were friendly and helpful, facilities were well kept and the surrounding area was just what we wanted. We will certainly be returning here in the future.

Lovely Christmas and New Year Break

We had a lovely stay here between Christmas and New Year, the site is well looked after and the facilities are very clean, except on the wardens day off (New Years Day) when the ladies don't seem to know how to clean the toilets after they have used them, I was shocked that club members could leave all four of them in such a state.  This site is fabulous for walking, the area has wonderful scenery and wildlife.  It was particularly good this year to walk from the site down to the cavendish pavilion where the theme was the 12 days of Christmas, excellent for the grandchildren and family when they came to visit us.  The wardens are very friendly and helpful.  Our TV service was good, although anagram only, we knew that there would be no phone signal, but the wifi worked well and we stayed in contact using this. We look forward to our next visit and hope that we don't have to wait until last minute to book due to those people who make bookings and then cancel at the last minute.
