Great site for visiting Blackpool

As I live in Blackpool I have only visited friend and family who have stopped here.  The site is placed perfectly for visiting Blackpool and Sy Annes.  Blackpool is a short drive away but this park is nicely out of the way of all the hustle and bustle.  Its hard to believe its situated so close to the motorway.  With VERY little if any traffic noise you could think you are in the middle of the country side.  With a large Tesco and Asda about 1.5 miles away, a Mc Donald's, A Kentucky, A Pizza Hut, A SubWay and other take a ways within 1.5 miles your food desires will all be satisfied.  If I didn't live only 4 miles away I would definitely stay at this site.

Very clean with spacious pitches

We stayed at this site from 30 December to 2nd January. It is in a good location, excellent for motorway access. We found it lovely and clean with spacious pitches and a comfortable, very clean and warm toilet/shower block. Unfortunately, the lighting is very poor between some pitches and the toilet/shower block which makes it difficult in the winter even with a torch. However, we will definitely stay here again.

New year break

Lovely site very easy to find, easy access to many places e.g. Lytham, Fleetwood, Cleveleys, Blackpool and many more, the only drawback is nowhere to walk the dog safely otherwise perfect, friendly wardens and very clean.

2 night stay

Nice spacious plots, lovely staff, very clean throughout. Difficult walking as the easiest way to the sea is via a dual carriageway, however, the bus stop is only a 3 minute walk away. The buses run until 6.30pm no later, unless you drop off at the nearest supermarket after that time and that would be a 20 minute walk away at least. Don't let this put you off staying here if you are mobile its great.

Chrstmas Break

This site is conveniently situated close to the M55, making it easily accessible. The greeting by the Wardens was warm and friendly. We used the site as it is within easy commuting distance to Preston, where members of our family own an apartment - we were able to join them over the Christmas holiday period on a daily basis. The site is also convenient for Lytham and Blackpool, and it is only a short drive to local supermarkets. The toilet block is maintained in a spotless condition. The pitches are very large, and adequate for all sizes of units, with space for an awning and parking of cars. There is unfortunately no dog walk, and much care is needed to walk a dog along the outside road, which is quite busy. Some road noise can be heard when outside the caravan, but is not noticeable in the interior. The exterior of the Reception Office is in need of some maintenance - painting (some of the paintwork is peeling), clearance of the guttering debris, the road surface near the entrance needs attention. This is the second time we have used this site, and we have enjoyed both visits. We have no hesitation in recommending the site to members, bearing in mind the above comments.
