second club site we visited

Very easy to find and very clean. A lot of air traffic noise with it being so close to the airport. Not nearly as friendly a site as Hawes that we had just come from.  I don't think we will be back in this area any time soon.

Brilliant site

I love this site.  The only thing I can mark it down on is peace and quiet and who comes to Blackpool for peace and quiet?  Saying that I have not had a bad nights sleep here.  Reasons I think the site is great  1. Right off the end of the motorway,  getting here is quick and simple  2.Great regular bus service into Blackpool  3. Nice layout has character and pitches feel private  4. Staff always friendly  5. Full of happy holiday makers  6.Caravan club standards,  so superb clean facilities.  7. Blackpool!

Couldn't have been better

We arrived for what should have been a 6 night stay,  and were very impressed with what we saw. The wardens were friendly and helpful, and we managed to get a pitch that was ideal for us. The site was clean and tidy, the pitches truly spacious. During our stay, the wardens were seen to be working very hard, while still finding time to provide information or a kind word. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we ended up staying 12 nights so continued to enjoy the spotless facilities and friendship of other members,  as well as being able to rely on the wardens.  we enjoyed a few trips out and found the site to be ideally placed to reach other destinations easily.  As the main purpose of this 1st visit to the site was hospital related (for our daughter) we intend to return to this excellent, well kept and well run site in September, to enjoy  outside attractions that we weren't able to see this time. Keep up the good work wardens, we are happy to recommend this site.

Perfect site.

We stayed here for a long weekend. Just to be based near Blackpool. It was perfect for this. Staff very helpful, pitches clean and spacious. The toilets and shower block perfectly clean. Little play area. Very happy.

Great Weekend

We use this site quite often as its only 30 miles from home. Always incredibly clean and well looked after. Situated on outskirts of Blackpool just a few minutes from M55. Great location for getting around the area. Wardens are friendly and helpful. Only downside is that the washrooms are operate by a yale key that you get on arrival. I forget mine more often than not (my fault) which means two trips to the washroom rather than one. Its the only CC site I know with a washroom key process.

Another good holiday

We had a super break here in the first three weeks in July. The site was very quiet compared to our previous visits and that was surprising however the weekends were busy. This site is handy for Blackpool (obvious) but also handy for St Ann's and Lytham and Preston - an interesting place for a wet day. The weather during our stay was tricky. We had thunderstorms and high winds but also lots of sunshine and lots of time on the beach. This is a site worth visiting and Blackpool a place to enjoy. Don't believe the stories! See for yourself. We enjoyed Hot Ice during our visit and that was a great show. The wardens were helpful and chatty though so hard working. Thanks for a good break. We will be back.
